I was a Home Depot associate for 8 years. I learned one great lesson. Don't ever work retail again for the rest of my life. The position was awesome, the employer, I honestly can't give them a bad review. They were GREAT. But there's that 1% of customers that are so obnoxious, entitled, disrespectful and made your life a living HELL. But thoroughly enjoyed every minute helping customers that were so thankful and continued returning and asking for me personally. That was what made it OK.

Bought a Weiser smart key keyed doorknob and deadbolt kit.
The keys stick in the locks and the doorknob only will install with the cylinder upside down (the cylinder plug needs to be flipped). Went back to Home Depot the guy in the lock department lead with "Did you read the instructions". Yes I read the instructions. Follow up question "Well did you rekey the lock with the keys provided?" It doesn't say to do that in any of the instructions (yes I did read them through completely). "Well I'm telling you to do it!" He turned a wonderful shade of red when responding and though I'm partially deaf and sometimes have to rely on lip reading I had no trouble hearing him. That was the best Home Depot had to offer by means of resolving the issues.
To be fair to Home Depot St. Albert if you don't have any questions they have good stock at good prices.
Weiser Canada has been less than helpful as well. Their customer service opened a ticket promised to send replacement cylinders, a cylinder removal tool, and the instructions for replacing the cylinders. The cylinders arrived without tool and no instructions. Follow up with them asking where the tool and instructions were was met with - we have a notice from Canada Post that the package was delivered. Which it was - just without the specified contents.
Now I have extra cylinders, and no fully functioning locks.
The takeaway for me: hire a locksmith and steer clear of Weiser and Home Depot St. Albert.

I love homdepot, but everyone at this one is useless. Between 2 of the garden people not knowing what an onion seed is and the window guy ripping the nailing flange off a window and saying it's fine. This store is a joke full of uneducated workers

I ordered some items online from Home Depot. I got a call from this store saying I'm too far away from them for delivery. I had no idea where the items were coming from as i just placed the order online. Management at this sore is not bright enough to figure out a solution for me.

This morning at the St. Albert location, I watched two male store employees watching a small lady trying to load 4x8 sheets of plywood. They told her they did not have their gloves and could not help. What in the hell type of customer service is that? Is this the best you can do?

I went in 15 minutes before closing and was immediately helped with purchasing 150 ft of baseboard. The associate offered to cut as well though it was getting close to closing time. We checked out at 1 minute past closing but I want to say that the service was the best I’ve had even though closing time is here. I also rented the van and it was very good experience as it was new,clean,affordable and they got me out the door in record time. I highly recommend this store as they seem to really understand customer service!!!

I wanted to share a great experience at Home Depot! We went in to get supplies for a project for our daughter and Kiwi, the lady who helped us, was absolutely amazing. She's definitely the friendliest and most helpful worker I've encountered anywhere. If they have an opening for a customer service manager, she should be their top pick for sure!

I bought a metal privacy screen and your employee, Eric who specializes in hardware and knows a lot about carpentry and lumber helped me to figure out how to build a wood frame around this to make this privacy screen into a gate. He also helped me to figure out what hardware worked best for the size of the wood frame and considering the weight of the metal screen. Eric went above and beyond to help me and shared his knowledge of carpentry, which help me to figure out how to do this project on my own, saving me money. Without him I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to do it and would have had to hire someone. Thank you Eric! You are an exceptional employee and representative of the Home Depot!
