I had day surgery here 2 weeks ago by Dr Johnson. The anesthesiologist was great. The hospital is clean. Admitting was friendly and efficent. The pre and post op nurse Theresa was awesome! Absolutely no complaints. Thank you to everyone I encountered

This place is an absolute joke. Came in here barely being able to walk, tremendous pain in my back and I’ve been sitting for the last 5 hours and still haven’t been helped. If you’re going to go somewhere go to Red Deer where doctors are getting paid to actually do their bloody job.

The worst place I could ever imagine showing up at what is said to be a hospital. I will call it a hospital because that’s supposedly what it is but if I could rate it zero stars, it would be it.2/3 of the staff are jokes, nurses do not want to work, but they want the money that will be included with the work. When I first came in here, the nurses were taking turns going up and down one of the halls and sleeping with patients. Their boyfriends and family members come in here and live, like it’s a hotel and they allow certain people in here to live for free until days gone by.One of the nurses, who is as tall as she is wide. She gives a new meaning to the word bully. She abuses everyone she could possibly abuse and nobody calls her out on it. All I can think about every single day is how I can commit suicide. One of the patients that is in the heritage house, walked out the front door and was gone for seven hours before they knew he was gone. He was brought back by a very friendly police officer. Just think about how much you’re spending on your loved ones to let them walk out the front door.

I was very impressed with Stettler Hospital today when I needed to go to the emergency! Everyone was kind, sweet and caring!!I want to thank Nicole, especially, she was the lab technician who came to take my blood work. In 62 years, I've never, before today, actually enjoyed my blood work being taken!! She's very talented and I didn't even feel the needle at all!!Dr.Burgess was very knowledgable and caring even thought they were very busy! Thank you to each member who served me!! I highly recommend Stettler Hospital Emergency Department!!!

I took my son in we thought he broke his arm and the Nurses where so good I have nothing to say but good. The Dr. on call was awful they took X-rays and he said it wasn’t broke so two weeks later it still was hurting took him to a good dr and he looked at the X-ray and said it’s been broken for two weeks.

My mom and dad have had multiple stays in the Stettler Hospital. The staff at the hospital are extremely caring and hard working. The hospital is kept very clean and I am grateful for the excellent medical care they have both had.

This is where my buddy, Randy, does his rehab. Not the alcohol kind, but the kind for folks in wheelchairs. He does a lot of bellyachin' about how they make him all sore and tired, but even he'll admit that he needs it. Plus, Randy sure loves the nurses. One time, they had a guy try to do the rehab, but Randy wasn't having it. He rolled right out of there in his underwear and wouldn't come back until they promised to have Penny back in there to do her work. And it was in December! I thought it was hilarious, but Randy... disagreed.Oh, and every time I've gone in there for stitches or STDs and whatnot, they were awesome. Five stars!

I have always been helped by the staff at the hospital here. For the negative reviews talking about it being slow...its a hospital. There is going to be a wait time, this doesnt reflect on the fact that the staff are awesome, and the care reflects that. You are going to have to wait in the order of importance. For those claiming doctors wouldnt see them, or that they were treated poorly by nurses...there are two sides to every story, and I dont believe for a minute that a doctor refuses to see someone. I call BS. ANYWAYS always been taken care of and treated kindly here.

I was treated very very poorly there. Left in tears. I was from out of province and had forgotten a very important medication at home in Saskatchewan. They absolutely refused to help and the doctor wouldn't even see me. They stereotyped me and didn't give a damn how very sick I'd get from not having my medication with me. I was there once before many years in an emergency situation, I had torn stitches in my abdomen (I had to go all the way to Red Deer for help) and again Stettler hospital treated me horribly refusing to help. Don't know why I thought it would be a better place in the recent situation.
