Waited 7 minutes just to get through to someone and then another 9 minutes of waiting for them to come back on with the info. I ended up calling back to get the guy again.
Staff never have any answers for our questions, googling products in the aisles is the only way to find any information.
Several bad experiences have us going to the big box stores now unfortunately, so sad because we like trying to support local.

My visit to the Stony Plain hardware store yesterday evening Oct 16 will probably be the last time for me. I went in and the only person in the place the cashier at her post. I walked around the store a couple times looking for help couldn't find anyone. I tried finding what i needed eventually gave up. On the way out i asked the cashier "is there anyone on the floor?" I then left. I've been a member since 2000. Home Depot, Rona here i come.

Used to come here for everything, now I don’t even bother. 1/10 of my last phone calls were answered, no one is ever at the paint or customer service desk, half the time you try and purchase something they have to call a manager to figure out how to sell it to you. Never mind even the fact that they are always out of standard across the board lumber all the time. You can hardly ever even purchase what you’re looking for. You can’t walk into this store and walk out in under 20 minutes. Save your time, just go to spruce.

Love this store! Staff are professional, helpful and very friendly. By far, my favorite home and garden store. Prices are faor and reasonable.

Best dammed smaller co-op hardware store anywhere! Friendliest staff and management I ever did see. For its size, this location carries so many things I can't find anymore in the big box corporate stores, like the last of the real true hardware stores that used to be. The staff here are all (in my experiences) highly knowledgeable. I love this place! And I'd spend the extra few pennies to here over any rona or home depot AAAAAANYTIIIIIME!

Staff is not knowledgeable about products they kept trying to sell me way more than I wanted or needed. Wouldn’t listen to what I was asking for. Terrible customer service
