Was scheduled for a new remote start but there was an opening a day ahead. They called, came and picked up my vehicle from work, then stayed a few minutes late so I could go pick it up after they were closed! Great service!

Severe Warning – Unethical Business Practices, Property Withheld, and Extortion
I am leaving this review to warn anyone considering doing business with Prime Auto Accessories Ltd in Taber, Alberta (owner: Sheldon). My experience has been extremely negative, and I have extensive documented proof of their misconduct.
I paid this company for tuning services on my 2015 Ford Transit ECM. From the beginning, the first tune they provided was defective and did not work. I reached out multiple times for help, but they delayed responses and refused to provide proper support.
In an attempt to resolve things, I shipped my ECM directly to them. After receiving it, they not only failed to fix the problem but are now refusing to return my ECM, which is my personal property. When I filed a dispute with my bank (only because they would not help me), they responded by blocking all my phone numbers and telling me that they would only return my ECM if I paid them again. This is not customer service—it is extortion.
I have preserved all evidence, including:
Invoices and receipts of payments made.
Shipping and tracking records showing they received my ECM.
Audio recordings and written communications proving their refusal and unlawful demands.
Proof of phone numbers blocked after I attempted to contact them.
This case is no longer just a bad business interaction—it is a legal matter. Their actions fall under theft, conversion of property, and extortion. I am preparing to escalate this with:
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC)
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
Alberta Consumer Protection authorities
Civil legal action for damages and recovery of my ECM
Anyone considering dealing with Prime Auto Accessories Ltd should be aware of these serious issues. Once they have your money or your parts, they may hold your property hostage and refuse to honor their obligations.

My father booked an appointment here to fix a broken front spring on my car. He made an agreement that this would also include a wheel alignment as it seems like common sense that a wheel alignment should be done after front suspension work. They had the repair done in a reasonable timeframe, I’ll give them that.
However when I went to pickup the car, I gave it a test drive and I realized that the alignment was very off. I was turning my steering wheel towards the right hand side of the road in order to keep it straight. When I brought the car back, they refused to correct the issue or even look at it. They didn’t even test drive the car to verify what I was telling them. Instead they said that they didn’t have time and I would have to return on Monday after the weekend. It seemed they were more concerned about being finished for the weekend rather than checking and addressing their mistake.
I am at a loss for words considering the fact that it was discussed prior to the repair. I question if the mechanic was even licensed or if he is some backyard mechanic. How could he forget to do the alignment after front suspension work?What really gets me is that he wouldn’t correct his mistake in favour of weekend plans. Honestly, I don’t think I’d let these people work on my car again as I would worry that if there was a genuine safety concern, they would be more concerned about their Friday plans than my safety.

I brought my car into the shop in May after it had completely lost power and shut off on me after fuelling up. I had explained the situation to them, I had told them about the squealing sounds it made at times and that it made awful noises when turning on the air inside. Knowing nothing about engines I myself could even hear that something wasn’t working right. I also knew my car was due for an oil change and had every intention of doing that myself. I had expressed that I would like a full diagnostics done on my car to see what needed to be done to get it in good shape again.
They expressed that they were quite booked and I fully understood that it might take some time to diagnose it but after it sat there for about four days I got a call stating that all my car needed was an oil change and they had gone ahead and completed that work without my permission to do so.
Wasn’t shortly after that my car broke down again in Lethbridge this time and so I took it to another shop and they came across multiple items that needed attention, which they also confirmed with me beforehand.
I feel like I was taken advantage of and that they didn’t want the business of actually looking into the issue at hand. I’m glad I’ve found a new shop I can trust.

I bought a rims and tires for my 2018 honda civic. This includes lug nuts, tpms and balancing. It took 7hrs for me to wait for there call, they said it will take 4hrs but it didnt happen. I came back to pick it up and hoping all is good based on the price i paid. First they did not put a TPMS on my tires, second They were nice when i inquire but after the order was made the approach is opposite (not satisfying).

Bought a set of Mudflaps and didn't end up using them when I came to return the Mudflaps Sheldon wouldn't take them back , said they looked scratched and funny thing was I never even unwrapped them . Terrible return policy to say the least

So this tuner was suggested to me by a co-worker, went there for a multi tune for my EFI. Got the tune but couldn’t figure out why position 1 on my switch, felt the same as position 4. Long story short, took my truck to another tuner, only to find out that all 4 maps on my EFI were a duplicate. And that was the reason for me not feeling a difference in the power.

They have done a great job with my and my fiance jeep since we've bought. Far price and good service..... The only thing is my rear axle is still leaving and that went in to get that "fixed". But obviously wasn't. But other then would will still go there to get work done.

Worst customer service so far. NOT recommended especially if you're out of town. These guys sold me a defective on car dvd player on oct 28th, 2020. Im from out of town and they had to ship it to me. Transaction was very smooth at this point. Then I found out that the dvd player wont even power up. To me, it's ok, it happens. Also to be fair, they sold me an alpine rse-2 which is already discontinued and was discounted at $250, $288.75 tax and shipping included. I thought they're trying to clear their inventory which is fine by me. Only issue is, it's defective and uselesss. Called them and agreed that I had to ship it back to them and they'll test it again by themselves, then they can refund me. So I shipped it back to them at my expense thru fedex. They received the defective dvd player on November 5th. I let them have couple of days as I understand things can get very busy as well. I contacted them again on November 9th and they told me they have not received anything. From this point, Im very disappointed and frustrated. I had to give them the screenshots and tracking number proving that their store has received it. Sheldon replied thru email on Nov 9th and said that it will take them 3 to 5 days to test the defective product they sold me. Again, I was very patient. Today is November 13th and still havent heard anything from these guys even just an update to whats going on. I felt that these guys will not return my HARD EARNED MONEY!. Thank God I paid thru paypal for security. I escalated this to paypal so they can mediate and wake these people up! Very disappointed to this canadian, let alone an alberta based company. I will never deal with this store again. They're quick to get your money but NO Accountability. I hate to give this review but they left me with no choice.Edited:After involving paypal and getting messages from the store, I finally get my full refund. I added one star extra for that. But will keep it at 2 star for now due to the stress it caused me which could have been fix for better communication or updates coming from the store. Im glad we can all move on from this.
