Solid 4. A lot of the course is under construction, which will be nice when complete. Not great signage or yardage markers, so bring your own GPS stuff.

Played this course today and was extremely disappointed. I played here a few years ago and was extremely pleased with condition of the course. Today however it was a very different story:The greens had been recently punched and no mention of this was made when I booked. The fairways were fair at the best of times. The cart paths were disgraceful, pot holes full of water and lots of washboard. To top it off they wanted $7.00 for a hot dog and $3.25 for a small coffee. If you want to golf and are prepared to drive 45 minutes from Calgary then I would recommend you try elsewhere.

Show up to play this course today. As usual one hole is completely out of commission. No range balls available. Rude at the pro shop. I grew up playing here and it’s turned in to a complete joke now. No discount on the rate even though all of the above hinders the experience.Skip this course. Aerated greens with no mention at time of booking. When I asked inside I was met with a snarky “that’s why you got 5 bucks off”Range was unavailable simply because they had no one to pick up the balls. There is one pro in particular which I won’t name out of respect but he has multiple complaints. I could find you 10 members and 10 friends that have had a issue with the guy.I have multiple friends that are pro golfers and say the number one priority is customer service. No one cares if he can shoot a 68. Complete prick and management does nothing about it. I’m not interested in replying to a private email so you can just fluff me and the rest of the world won’t hear about it. You guys need to do something about this professional golfer or you’ll continue to lose customers. His reputation reaches as far asAirdrie..

Had an excellent time! We signed up for the couples package which included a meal, drink, and a lesson with a golf pro (Corey Seaman?).Food was actually way better than I thought it would be (had the clubhouse which had real turkey in it and very good crispy rye bread). The best part was Corey though. He stayed late with us and helped us terrible golfers through some basic lessons. He was very very patient and encouraging. He made me want to continue golfing and going to lessons :)

Beautiful course, in excellent condition, but too far from far north Calgary where we live. First time I've seen a friendly moose on a golf course. Edit August 3 2022: the course is in poor condition this summer. Many greens are unplayable, bunkers are hard and full of rocks, rough not trimmed in the trees and around hazards. And they still charge full price. Don't think I'll be back.

JD and the TEAM at Turner Valley have a great rural AB golf course. It’s super fun to play, the service is great, and the beer is always cold. Great place to go if your looking for a casual afternoon on the links.

I have been a member since September of 2021. If I won the lottery, would I switch golf courses? The answer is a firm "no". The best thing about the Turner Valley experience is that it is so peaceful. From the greeting at the proshop, to the welcoming friendly membership, to the relaxing quiet, very well designed course, and the nice 19th hole, it's fabulous. There is an abundance of different events you can participate in. (I signed up for most of them.) If you are thinking you would like to join a golf course, drive out and meet J.D. and Cory. I went and found J.D. and made a deal with him that very same afternoon, and was a full member that day. I'm taking a minute to tell you how happy I am that I did that. That's my story.
