Spun out on an icy side road by the smoky and got stuck on the road. Not long later these guys happened upon me and offered to give me a hand to get back onto the highway. Very friendly guys and no hesitation whatsoever to help me out! Didn't even charge me! Would 110% reccomend these guys to anybody in the area needing a tow.
Edit: in reply to MEC Towing's reply, your concern for safety is very apparent by the willingness your driver had to lend a helping hand before moving on to the customer he said he was already on the way to. I cannot think of any instance in which I have been met by such a positive experience from a company I had not already dealt with. Cannot show my appreciation enough!!

Planted my truck 20ft off of an icy road in the bush and called MEC that night, made arrangements to have it pulled out the next day, the boys were right on time and were able to pull my truck out without any further damage. Tim & Skyler were awesome, I really enjoyed meeting them, they were friendly, professional, and accommodating with my schedule.

My family and I were headed back from our annual camping trip in Drumheller, when our camper blew a leaf spring 45 min from home. We had two kids with us including a kid with high medical needs, not one tow company could help us. Steven answered the call and came out immediately to help us. He wasn’t able to put the camper onto the flat deck without damage so with some backwoods engineering he stabilized the axle and we were able to tow it the next 30km to my brothers shop with him behind us to pilot. I will be forever grateful for his help getting my family home safely. Steven you are an asset to the towing industry as not a lot of guys can think outside the box on calls like this. You will always be our first call. Thanks so much!

i got my vehicle towed and they broke my exhaust pipe while loading and unloading
really disappointed i think the truck was H2
really bad experience would think 3 or 4 times to suggest somebody about this company

We were traveling to saskatchewan and had a breakdown near whitecourt, Steven got us to town and settled. He even came back later to make sure all was well on a holiday Monday.
We would definitely use them again, but hope I don't have to.

Andrew was awesome as my 17 year old daughter arranged for her first vehicle tow through AMA. Grateful MEC was who was dispatched, as Andrew was so careful winching her baby onto the flatbed and making sure it was tied down. He even took the time to point out to her where there was a gouge in her tire, so she did not have an accident on the highway when she went to pick it up from Edson. Andrew was totally patient as we watched every step of the way, taking photos of the process so she could show her dad and her friends. It was a pleasure to shake his hand before he left, knowing her vehicle was in good hands on its way to Edson.

Truly saved the day for my mom. Her car broke down in Whitecourt today and only three people stopped to ask her for help everyone else yelled at her honked at her and gave her the finger even though she had her hazard lights on. This company made it there in record time. Steven - I hope I have the name right of the driver as he deserves a shout out - he was extremely helpful, he made sure my mom and her dog were safely moved to my car and got her car hooked up and over to the shop in no time at all. Thank again!

I believe they know their job and they do it well, but this company is over priced.I was on my way from Canmore to Whitehorse in Yukon.After driving 700km with a school bus I bought, one morning the bus was struggling to start.One employee came to scan it to find the issue but didn't really find it.I went to their shop for 1h to have a look.I've been charged $580 just to scan the truck, and cleaning few wires.When I was in the shop with the guy helping cleaning few wires, I asked how much it'll be and the he told me it's $160/h, so it will be $320 in total and I was happy with that.As he didn't have the machine to pay with the credit card I left my credit card numbers. And I received this huge invoice once I arrived in Yukon.$35 supplies even if they didn't use anything, I called the desk and she told me that those $35 are automatic, even if they didn't use a screw. And $180 just to plug the scan machine.. She was laughing when I told her I was unhappy of what they did and she also added "anyway now you already paid"If you're on budget and just crossing/traveling around I absolutely don't recommend to stop by this shop. They literally f..ked me up
