Even though it is now pay at the pump you can still get someone to pump your fuel for you. Mikey is a wonderful owner and is always interested in what you are doing - where you are going so he can share any info that might be helpful for your trip.

I love the service here. They pump your gas for you, so you don't need to stand in the cold. The restrooms are older, but very clean. They sell a nice variety of snacks and are always very pleasant, even when they are busy.

I am from Toronto and I was driving back towards Toronto and I stopped in Wainwright. This is the only gas station where the man did my gas for me. When I asked why, he said it was tradition. Super friendly, super nice. I know all gas stations are the same, but this is the best one I have been to in Canada
