“Stayed at this wonderful little place the weekend of July 17th to 19th 2026. Check in was a breeze , there is parking for each room at no additional cost. The room we had was a single room with the most comfortable Queen bed. The room was very clean . The bathroom is small but has everything you need. There is a small bar fridge and an open closet to hang your clothes if you wish.
There is a BBQ area with 3 BBQ, and 4 picnic tables . If you don't have your own BBQ tools they do provide some at the front desk. There is an ice machine outside available to you at all times, as well as a microwave. They also supply clean towels in a bin by the office if you need them to wipe your vehicle down. There are a variety of coffees available as well in the office from 7 a.m. onward. You are a quick walk to the Marina, restaurants, Cameron falls, and all the cute little shops. The owners are super nice. This Motel has been there since 1958 and has a lot of history. Loved our stay and have already booked another one

“Had a wonderful Valentine's supper here. The three course meal was delicious. Apple fennel salad to start, a beautifully cooked steak for a main and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. All in all, a very special meal in a very special place!”

“We just had our wedding at Bayshore Lakeside Convention Centre on August 8. From the moment we had our inquiry leading to finalizing all the details, Nixie (venue manager) has been extremely thorough, helpful and was very accomodating of all of our questions. Nixie made sure that our day went by smoothly, even updating us of the current smoky conditions. The wedding day was just beautiful, from the scenic views, to the food and service, all of our out of town guests had an amazing time. We cannot thank Nixie and all the venue staff enough for making our special day more than what we have ever imagined and hoped for!”
