This review is not only about Fry's, or this particular location.I but the precut fresh vegetable assortment because of the convenience.For some time my brother and I have been put off by the taste and smell of the small peeled carrots.It is getting to the point I basically threw out the whole tray. I don't especially think the carrots are bad, but they do smell moldy or very earthy like they are raised in manure beds!I am not going to buy any more of these veggie trays.

I find the workers very patient and helpful. The food is always well stocked, especially their weekly deals.

Just had a cashier instigate a fight between me and another customer, I don't know what most the employees problems at this store are but I think they need a moral boost.

It's the first time I've ever seen a bar in the middle of a grocery store. I heard one of the patrons tell his kids to go do the shopping and he would be there when they were done. This idea is thinking way outside the box but it's also kind of a novel idea too. I propose a toast to whoever came up with the idea and I'm sure it will encourage many more patrons to visit with their kids or spouses for a break from shopping or to just relax after shopping or to work on their shopping list. I might just stop to have a beer to make sure I didn't forget anything so I don't have to go back. But, then again, the bar wouldn't make the trip so painful if I did need to return.

I loved Fry's, I have shopped there for every since they have been opened in Apache Junction. I have never had a problem with shopping there. And I was never worried about my safety. But on 3/5/22 that changed everything. I had order over $150 from their Deli department for our Adoption party that day. I showed up to pick my order up that was supposed to be ready by 11:30am. I walked up to 2 Bakery associates that were just standing there talking and asked them where I would get my order. They said to go to the Deli. I went to the side of the counter and told them I came to get my order. I notice an associate was making trays behind the machines that slice the deli. But she looked at me and gave no response. I was told by all 4 associates working in the deli that I needed to take a number. So I did, they were on 18 and I was number 27. I was not very happy, waited there for over 30 minutes to get my order. Once they brought my order up, I realized they had only made 4 trays not 5 like I ordered. I was told by the gentleman that was helping me, that I didn't order 5. Then we figured out the last one was on the back page and was never made. He stated that he has never made one so he will have to get his manager. I asked for the store manager and he said can I get you the Deli manager. I replied yes but I would also like to see the store manager. The Deli manager comes up and reviews the order form and also agrees that the 5th tray was never made. She offered to make it for me but it might take awhile because she has never made one. The store manager comes up and I'm explaining what has took place and questioned her about having to wait thru 11 people before getting my order for the party. And that one tray was never even made. Her response was shaking her head up and down and she told me to that why would not charge me for the one that tray they did not make and they would make it now. By this time my party had started and there was no food there yet. The store manager said why don't you go check out and I will bring you the tray. As I turned to go check out, a customer that had no part of this conversation , told me to give it a rest and went in front of me. I said it was really none of this business and that he was the one with a Adoption party going on with no food. He called me a XXXXXX XXXXX and turned around grabbed my cart with both hands and shoved it into me. As I was walking in front the the customer serviced, I yelled and asked for someone to call security and the cops. Not any associate or customer came to help. It wasn't until I was up out the self check out that anyone responded to me. Mean while the guy left his cart and left out the store. There was one lady up there that asked what was wrong and asked me if I wanted the police called. No one took this seriously, No one wanted to deal with this, no one had me sit down, give me water, or even willing to pull tape to see what occurred. Security did show up for at least 5-10 mins, and they have security there every day. So what was the difference now? Why wasn't this taking seriously? Were is compassion for human being? Not in this store.

I have never had any issues here at this Fry's location. The parking lot is huge and there is always a place to park. The gas station always has open pumps too - I have never had to wait for a pump to open up. The workers are not pushy and rude as some other Fry's location. I am always able to get a full cart of groceries here.

Love this Fry's--except for the continual shortage of working, charged mobility carts. Today you lost a $45 sale when we tried to find a working, charged mobility cart. We drove up and down the parking lot aisles and waited inside and finally gave up and went to Walmart's, where they almost always have working, charged mobility carts. Happens to me about once a week, which means about $2,500 loss a year for your Fry's from just one elderly customer in this retirement town. I'd rather spend it at Fry's, which is otherwise one of my favorite stores.

I switched to curbside pickup in July 2020. They have completed very few orders correctly. However, I think they still deserve 5 stars. Most of the time it is a mere slight inconvenience (and not horribly messed up) and I'm more than fine with that (having someone else literally have to grocery shop for me...for no extra fee). When I've been charged for items I didn't receive (I only responded to their feedback requests that you get when you do curbside delivery two times where my order was a bit too messed up for even me) they've made it more than right each time. Considering what grocery store workers deal with...I worked at one (from the day I turned 16) for 7 years and I know what they deal with...I think they're doing a good job overall. I really don't think 1 star reviews for just a handful of bad experiences is warranted, especially in today's world where these ratings can be so damaging.

Why is it that the Frys app never works in the store? The last 3 or 4 times I shopped I could not access coupons, digital coupons, anything. This has caused me to spend a lot more money ( on a limited income) than I can afford. When I asked about this , all I got was shrugged shoulders as a response. Apparently I'm going to have to go elsewhere for my shopping.

Beware of this store! Many customers weren't wearing masks. Two employees stocking shelves had their masks pulled below their chins. The woman working one of the self-check out area wasn't wearing a mask or shield or socially distancing. I asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask, "I have a doctors note", was her nasty toned response. Why would you let her come in contact with so many people? The sign on the door says masks are required! It's a joke.

While I like Fry's selection, and their prices are decent (sometimes-when things are on sale), this location is always super crowded. You simply cannot find a parking spot, no matter what hour of the day you go. And to make matters worse, the employees are not super helpful or friendly either. Example: I recently had to return some Frito-Lay chips that were on recall. I brought to customer service and she didn't seem to care there was a recall on chips. I had to tell her to make sure the chips were pulled from the shelves. Also, when checking out, I like to be greeted with a "hello" at least. Very rarely am I acknowledged or thanked at this store, which doesn't bode well on the customer service aspect of the store. Maybe management should train the employees on what "customer service" means. In the meantime, I'll shop elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible costumer service. Despite multiple phone calls and being told the wrong things from this stores employees and management I contacted corporate and guess what? No problem at all fixed in a 15 minutes phone call sent me to a different store and boom I got my refund when I walked in the store.

Fry's in Apache junction was supposed to be better after relocating but they switched out a bunch of employees and his store is mediocre at best!!!!!!!!! Need a new manager I guess?!?!?!!!! Clicklist is worthless here used to be ok but not so much any more!!! If I could give negative stars I would this is ridiculous!!!

The Manager Bob needs to learn or relearn people skills. He's great with guests but very rude to his employees. I've been a Manager for 30 years and I believe treat your employees like you want your boss to treat you. I know it's stressful for everyone during COVID-19. Bob is always ride to employees. I hope his boss sees this review and helps him with this flaw, I know other Frys managers that have clean stores and happy staff. I haven't seen him interacting with employees much during COVID, my feedback is before, so he can't blame it on this. He store is clean and they do a good job of keeping it stocked during this outbreak.
