Friendly staff and some of the best chocolate fudge I have ever had!! If you are a local or from out of town I highly recommend stopping by for some fudge. The ghost town has a lot to offer but this place sets a high standard for your sweets cravings!

A great place to bring your friends and family. The fudge and other handmade treats are amazing. A fun store to shop in! The guys behind the fudge counter are hilarious! I highly recommend this store at the Goldfield Ghost Town.
Mother Lode Mercantile is located in Goldfield Ghost Town just north of Apache Junction, AZ on Hwy 88 - the Historic Apache Trail and at the base of the Superstition Mountains.
We offer a melange of western gifts & souvenirs, home-made fudge, and ol’ time candy shoppe, and gourmet chocolates and Truffles.
We’re the original creators of the Prickly Pear Fudge (made from the fruit of the Prickly Pear cactus!) and the Gold Nugget fudge (made with REAL 23K gold!)
Open 10 - 5 daily, closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter days.
