Don’t use this post office.
I had the worse experience with this post office. I opened up a PO Box in January and since then they didn’t properly open my PO Box so they sent back about four or five of my packages. I had to run up here multiple times with tracking numbers trying to get them to stop sending my package back to Phoenix or back where it came from because they didn’t properly state that my post office box was open.
And what’s even worse about this post office is not only have they screwed up my post office box for over six months now But they don’t like to deliver your packages same day. So if Amazon drop something off on Wednesday, they won’t let you pick it up until Thursday or Friday. You can’t get your packages same day here. Which is a joke because every other post office allows you to get your packages same day. They just withhold your mail here.
And then on top of all that their 24 hour service is a joke. I’ve come up here multiple times with a priority mail box that’s supposed to have a machine here that I could scan and drop it off. Every time I use it, the scale doesn’t work. So not only do I have to get up during their business hours, I have to come deal with these people again. I’m so sick of dealing with the people here because they’re so incompetent and rude and bad at their job. Plus, they give you every excuse under the book not to do their job here. Now I have to get up in the middle of the day and to drop off a package here because yet again their machines don’t ever work here.
I mean the list goes on here. Every time I show up here there’s another problem or another reason they don’t wanna do their job.
I really wish there was a better post office that was in this area but I guess I’m gonna have to transfer everything back over to Mesa because Apache post office is a joke. I don’t even know how they survive this long without being shut down

Dropped off about 20 postcards for friends and family members across the US and 3 weeks, later not a single person received one. Everytime I send outgoing mail from this post office it never gets to its destination but when I send outgoing mail from other post offices it does get to its destination 🤷🏻♀️🤨

The people at this post office are friendly . It seems like this Post Office is well staffed. You don't have to stand in line a long time.

Terrible customer service. Went through a 20 person line not once but twice today. First time around I was told I could go get a certain slip and be able to meet a driver on their route to receive my package. So I went home, got the slip, waited another half hour only to be told by a different manager that was misinformation and proceeded to SHRUG ME AWAY after I politely asked if there was anything else I could do. I am a truck driver and can not be here every single night to receive stuff. So now I am out of luck for the next week at least! THANK YOU USPS!!😡😡

I agree that 2 persons at the window seems why to few. The line often has 20 people in it. There is minimal seating for waiting, Many of the elderly have to stand almost the entire wait. I'm surprised people don't pass out there.

Excellent customer service. There was one staff kind woman who offered to assist me by using the self-service Machine. She did everything for me and was way faster. Thank you nice staff woman.

They quoted $5.60 to send a single 4x6 LETTER. The women behind the counter was not very forthcoming about pricing and when I asked if it was the cheapest 3 different ways she finally told me online was cheaper. It felt like i had to pry the information. Online quoted me $1.12. Terrible customer service. I over heard them gossiping about another customer while I was preparing my letters, seemed like they just needed some guilding help too. I'll be handling everything online from now on. If usps wants to employ less and less counter employees because of the lack of customer service and the huge over charge it's working.
