I apparently needed a new gas cap so they had to take my OEM one away and give me a new one. I passed emissions and everything but a few days later I get the, “check fuel cap” message on my vehicle and a check engine light. My vehicle also started throwing a “large” emissions leak code. I ended up going to an auto zone that had my vehicles gas cap. I replaced the cap and cleared the code. It’s been weeks now and none of these problems are showing up again. No check engine light and no large emissions leak. What gas caps are they handing out that cause the issues that they test for?

It is an emissions place. Pretty quick service, so that you're not wasting a lot of your time with this. Don't expect them to know how to pass emissions if you fail, they are not mechanics

I had an extremely disappointing experience at AJ emissions inspectionstation. This emissions testing facility is incredibly unprofessional and unreliable. They made constant mistakes during the testing process, and when confronted about these errors, they refused to take any responsibility. Their lack of accountability and attention to detail is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy and competent emissions testing service. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
