These people are not what should represent the American Legion. In fact they are more of schemers and con-men here doing everything they can to make everyone else pay their bills. Do some good for once; help clean someone's dirty home or put proceeds towards a (deserving) and capable foundation. Biggest problem is it's run by old minded people who live in back woods homes.

We recently moved to Ash Fork and decided to go to the Ash Fork American Legion for their early (Saturday) Valentine's Day breakfast. We had a busy day so we went at 8 am when it started. We were greeted by 3 friendly ladies. Breakfast was Eggs Benedict, potatoes, and fruit. All the ladies also received a red rose ?

I've been a loyal American legion member paid nearly 19k in membership fees volunteered tons of hours and donated thousands of dollars to legion causes for nearly 40 year's now.. I simply asked to park my travel trailer on their lot for an hour or two ( while they were closed anyways after all they don't open for business till 4pm.)whiIe I prepped a drive way on my new property in ashfork.. Other legion post's around the country never had a problem with doing so while I was traveling.. Closed knit apparently applies here after all even though I'm a member I'm really an outsider to this post.. I'm sure my fellow brothers in this post are more helpful but definitely the command here isn't..

If you are up in northern Arizona it is worth a visit to AFAL. It is a small community but very welcoming. If you have moved to the area you need to visit. You will not be disappointed. I have had numerous meals (and the occasional cocktail) and can say that it is a pleasure.

I asked to park my travel trailer in thier lot for an hour or two while they weren't open anyways so I can prepare a drive way to a property I purchased in ashfork.. Numerous other legion post's in the United States never had a problem with this asked favor yet this post command did.. Been welcomed with open arms over the year's by numerous post's in the nation but apparently this post command isn't that friendly. I'm sure there's good people in This post so my complaint isn't against them just thier management..
