I was a foster parent and had two of my babies attend this school. The first baby attended from age 10 weeks to 19 months of age. He was sick constantly, and at first I thought it was because he was a baby getting used to germs. He was sick every couple of weeks, with fevers and various symptoms. He was always suffering. . When I enrolled my second baby at 4 months old, she was sick every 2 weeks. There were times where she would have one cold and get another right on top of it. Her nose was running or congested constantly. It never went away. It was then that I realized that the illnesses that my first baby had were not due to an immature immune system! I saw with my own eyes on many occasions that babies in the classroom were sick. I was told by the teacher "yeah, they all get sick at the same time". Sick babies were always allowed to stay in class. The carpet in the baby room was old and gross. Harboring who knows what. It was never steam cleaned. The space for them to crawl was a tiny area, the size of a small padded mat. They were on that mat all day long, 5-8 babies. Like spending the day in a playpen. The school has a huge stroller to take 6 babies for a walk at once, but it was very rarely used. I made suggestions to the staff and director on how to make better use of the space/ room but it fell on deaf ears. I saw on many occasions the teachers preparing snacks for the older babies not 3 feet away from the changing table. The last straw for me came when I picked up my baby and noticed a smaller baby in a crib, crying. I asked if he was ok, and was told by the teacher that he has pinkeye and the parents were on the way to take him to urgent care. He had been in the classroom sick ALL day. Two days later, yup, my little one got pinkeye and so did I! The director is unprofessional, and will twist things and deny facts. She lies to cover up her inadequacy and flat out told me to my face that what I had seen with my own eyes hadn't happened. She has no business being a director. Do not send your babies here!

If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would! They are disorganized, disrespectful to parents and discriminatory against children with special needs or accommodations. They dis-enrolled our son without prior notice due to his disability, lied about it and falsified paperwork to cover themselves. The director and manager broke the news to us right in front of our son on his way into class. We paid them a full week in advance and still haven't seen our refund. The manager has a very passive aggressive way of approaching parents and retaliates against the child if unsatisfied with the outcome of a discussion. They fired their best leadership nearly a year ago and their quality of services have gone downhill from there. People are quitting left and right and they are well understaffed. When there are virus breakouts, they do not consistently notify ALL parents, just those in the direct classrooms. My son and I have COVID right now and I'd hate to believe it is due to this lack of vital communication. If you care about your child or grandchild, DO NOT bring them here!

The teachers and staff truly love the children here. My 10 month old has been attending for 5 months now, and she gets excited when we walk through the door every morning. They’re like family.

We are a new family to Garden Lakes Christian Academy, so far they have all been so wonderful and accommodating in this transition. My son is 1 and is currently potty training, they are taking him on even though they don't typically potty train in the 1's room. The teachers and staff are so supportive and friendly, they are a huge blessing to our family. I am very excited for my infant to start attending as well, I know she'll be as loved and supported as my son has been. Oh and a huge bonus is that they are all Christian. For our family this was so important, to have our young children to be around caretakers who share values to the ones we raise them with at home.

I have been bringing my daughter to Garden Lakes since she was 6 months old. The staff made the decision and adjustment so easy and comfortable. Everyone has become like family and are so welcoming and friendly. My daughter runs into the building and is so excited to spend her days here. She is safe, loved, and well taken care of. Recently we moved homes, but made sure to stay in the vicinity because having a place like Garden Lakes was so important. We will be here until she graduates!

Garden lake and all the ladies that basically have been apart of our families life for a year now and have been one of the biggest blessing in our families life. They are committed to the children. We are 100% comfortable having our 4 month and 3 yr old attend plus school grade on their school off days/summer camp. They teach, love and make sure the kids are having the best time and safest.
