Went in looking for a left handed gloves for my son. Had a little trouble finding them at first, but one of the managers was incredibly helpful, especially being that he was left handed himself. Will definitely be back for any future sporting goods needs.

I visited the store this evening to purchase a tent and some supplies. Upon realizing that the store would be closing soon, a young lady at the front kindly showed me the tents quickly. However, I was disappointed by the poor customer service exhibited by a gentleman named Will, who was very rude and unpleasant.

The store manager Brian was working behind the sporting goods counter and just could not be bothered. I guess he was too involved his personal conversation with another employee. His eyes rolled so far behind his head that you could hear it from across the store. He got frustrated that he had to get up off his chair to look up an item then to walk three steps towards where it was and retrieve them. He could not answer or probably didn't want to answer my questions about the items. The nice young lady at the register apologized for her managers poor customer service and answered all of my questions about my items. I think the district manager for Big 5 should demote Brian and promote the lovely cashier. Just my professional opinion

The young girl at the cashier sent us in the wrong direction for what we were looking for. Asked another employee when we could not find it and was kind enough to walk us over to the right place. Then when we were paying she talked to the guy checking us out the whole time. It’s not like they were busy they could have waited until we left to have their conversation.
