Terrible maintenance department. Here’s the facts:-I bought a trailer and picked it up on a Wednesday.-returned the trailer to have the brake system looked at on Saturday.-was told “you’ll get a call in a few days.” One week went by, no call.-after 4 phone calls (each time a “you’ll get a call soon” assurance), I finally got ahold of the service member, Steven, in charge of my work order (apparently only Steven could access, schedule, and monitor my work order).-camping world lost my work order and I was told “we’ll sort this out and call you tomorrow”Two weeks after buying a new trailer, I finally got it back. This is my first and last time getting maintenance done at camping World.

After the original purchase went to use coach and had problems returned it and then they wanted to charge me for repairs. That should have been taken care of before picking up unit. Dropped off a repair took. What I thought was very long before the repair got done. And then after picking it up again still had problems with water leaking.

The worst experience ever I bought a small champion generation from them got home did all the prep as told by sales lady and owners manual ran it for about 30 to 40 minutes with a small fan and it would shut off on it self then wouldn't come back on. Took it back the next day they said they couldn't replace but they where going to send to the shop to get checked. It's been 3 months already, and they didn't fix it, and now MANAGER THALIA telling me to take it somewhere else because they're not going to fix it. SO THINK TWICE WHEN BUYING A GENERATOR FROM CAMPING WORLD THEY WILL F.U.O

Very frustrated with the Camping World service department in Avondale. I purchsed a brand new Coleman Lantern 1 year ago. While on my first or second camping trip i had noticed water leaking under the camper right by the entry way. Immediately after that trip i called and scheduled an appointment to find and repair the water leak. When i was describing the issue with the service advisor i also let it be known that i had another trip coming up soon. The service advisor told me that if it isn't fixed by that time that i could come pick it up for the trip and bring it back to replace any defective parts. The service advisor requested that i contact him a few times to remind him of the trip so they could be sure and have my camper back together and ready. So, i go to pick my camper up and something told me to go inside and check it out. Lo and behold the bed is still torn apart so i had to wait about an hour for some guys to come and put it back together. During that time i decided to walk around my camper and check some things out since i was a new owner. While walking around i looked up and noticed that a plastic end cap had beeen busted off of the awning. Not to sure what happened but it wasn't like that when i dropped it off. Service advisor took note and the part was replaced (Only good experience at this point). The leak was never found but i dont think they tried to hard becasue the only part they tore up on the bed was in the corner by the water pump.A few months down the road. Just used my camper again in mid August. Walked into the camper on the second night and our entry way mat was soaked. Turned on the light and water was everwhere. It took 4 bath towels to soak up all of the water. Again, immediatley upon return from the trip i scheduled another appointment. Was assigned to the same service advisor that i had the first time. Explained what happened and told him that it had gotten much worse than the previous leak. Dropped the camper off on the 28th of August and on 5 September i text messaged service advisor to check on progress. He replied that same day and said that they could not find any leakes in my camper. I thought, "Okay, this is a joke" but no they were serious. I told him that it was hard to believe and asked him if he saw the photos i took of the leak. He asked for the photos and i sent them to him. A few hours later he messaged me saying that the camper they looked at was not mine and that they were currently pulling it up to take a look at it (Wow), A few days went by and no calls about the leak so i messaged him and he said that the tech wasnt in and he would let me know something on Tuesday. Its thursday now and no message about my camper so i decide to just drive down and try to get some info about what was going on. As soon as i park in the parking lot i get a text saying," We could not find a leak and the claim for water damage was denied". Ironically the wood damage is at the base of the bed and guess where the water tank is? Yep, right under the bed.Going to start making some calls and gather paperwork from the day i bought it. I really do not want to be stuck with a brand new Coleman that constantly leaks water.

worst customer service i’ve ever seen, don’t help you with anything, sent in a trailer for a repair just to come back w the microwave BROKEN which didn’t go broken, don’t help you with anything and now they’re not responsible with ANYTHING stolen from their lots which means when you send in your trailers you’ll have stuff stolen , broken and you’ll get a disrespectful attitude .george the manager is the most incompetent man for the job, never helps you and doesn’t care.spent months in shop btw almost half a year and came back still broken . save your money

I am beyond furious and wishing I had gone with one of their competitors. On July 22nd, my family and I visited this location as they had the one camper we have been hunting since the beginning of the pandemic, an Aliner Family Expedition. This particular model is a 2021. We decided to move forward and the sales personal was nice but due to being new was not knowledgeable of the unit. No big deal. Finance team was an hour late to our meeting, again, no big deal. Meetings run long.I should have taken it as a sign of what was to come. During our initial walkthrough we pointed out that the seal on the door was pulling away and that the speaker on the inside was not attached. We were told those would be fixed prior to our potential purchase. We were assured they would be and continued on. Well, on our walkthrough later with service we were told they were working to get it fixed up but for some reason the radio next to the loose speaker no longer worked even though it did on the first walkthrough. We were told it would be ready for when we picked it up on 7/31. Unfortunately, our friend who was going to transport it didn’t have the right ball hitch so we paid extra to have a third party (recommended by our sales person on behalf of Camping World) on 8/1. It arrived and we found that the door seal wasn’t on and the part hadn’t been delivered yet. We also found one of the locking pins to hold the wind stabilizers closed was now missing. It took almost a week to get that figured out. In that time, we worked to get our hitch fully installed so we could take it out of our garage where it had sat since being delivered.Once we got that done and pulled the camper out, we set it up to find that someone from Camping World had incorrectly locked the top half of the door and left the lock sticking out. When they closed it for transport, they put a hole in the fiberglass siding that even destroyed the insulation. We immediately called camping world and spoke to the GM who tried to blame the delivery people. The delivery guy confirmed it was already shut when he picked up for transport and provided us with photos. We have cameras in our garage that show the Aliner hadn’t moved at all since delivery and that it wasn’t user error. We called back and the GM told us that service was closed but they’d call and get us scheduled. No one called. We had to call again, and this time we spoke to service who had no notes on the issue nor any idea what we were talking about. They had to confirm with the GM and we got an appointment scheduled for 8/17 at 12:00 pm. It has now been over a week with no firm dates, commitments or the such. We are about to make the first payment to on our camper and we don’t even have it. Even the “free stay” we were given when we bought it is going to expire before we can use it since we don’t have the camper. This has been the worst experience ever and once I have my repaired camper back, I don’t think I will ever do business with Camping World.

Had more knowledge of travel trailers then sales, had to pick six inches of asphalt out of the to jack after it struck the ground and realizing it wasn't going all the way up. Brought the trailer back after first use for issues, took over a month and a half only 1 call saying some things were covered under warranty. I don't fault the time it's the lack of communication. Had to call to find out the trailer was done and the reason given was the service rep was on vacation. Pickup is only 9am-4pm so would have to take a day off work to get the trailer. Would not buy from or have service done by them again.

I had such a terrible time at the camp world of Avondale. Made the 200 mile trip down to see my brand new trailer was damaged and not ready as it was missing hardware and panels and for some reason they didn't know i was comingon the service departmentside, finance, seller, and secretaries know but not service apparently. They told me to comeback 3 days later because they had the parts and would call on Wednesday with an update. They never called me I had to call them. They explained after I called 3 times they would call me back in 20 minutes and never would. Finally someone answered me and said they don't have the parts. So I waited all that time for nothing and had to go back down 200 miles again. Once I got there it had minimal repairs done and they had to make a bunch of last minute fixes per my request (more like had to pressure them). Also if I call to schedule the times and when I get there people are saying they didnt know I was coming, the communication at the dealer is bad. As a customer I should not have to work so hard just to get what should be 100% done especially on a brand new 40k trailer. There was so much more bad but it is not worth talking further on. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and will warn anyone else i know not to use them in general. if I can help it I will never take my trailer back to them, if I did I might not ever see it again. Trust broken and if I could give negative stars I would.

I bought a Coleman lantern, 2023 and my salesman Patrick was amazing through the entire process, his attention and follow through has gone above and beyond. I highly recommend asking for Pat! I am having a blast on my adventures with my new Coleman camper. Happy trails.

My wife and I purchased a Class A RV from Camping World Avondale. In our experience and opinion, they misled us and were negligent. We have spent $1,700 on pet care, uber rides, lodging, food, new front tires, and labor for tires because of it.To begin, we scheduled an appointment to pick up the RV Friday, June 23rd. On June 22nd, An employee had confirmed all paperwork/documentation and funds were received to drive the RV home. Due to schedule conflicts, we had to cancel that appt. and make Monday the 26th of June the new appt. This gave them the whole weekend to verify the readiness of the RV.A giant hurdle for us in this buying process is that we live in Las Vegas, NV. So, every time we want to look at the RV, my Wife and son have to fly or drive to Avondale, AZ from Las Vegas, NV. Everyone we dealt with in the store was very aware of this.Because this issue, multiple times after the final appt. was made, my wife and I separately asked different employees at the Camping World if the RV was "pick up ready". If it was "ready for my wife to show up, get a walk through, sign paperwork, and drive away that day". All times, all reps confirmed it was ready. On Monday, June 26th around 12pm in Avondale, at the appt. and in person, my wife was told "the radio is not installed and the potable water tank is empty". Along with that info, she was told it wouldn't be able to get installed until Tuesday the 27th after 10am.Now, my wife has call the pet sitter, pay them more for an extra night, book a hotel, pay for an uber ride to the hotel, and buy food. New tires and associated costs come later. After 12pm of the 27th, Camping World called my wife and said the radio was installed and was ready to be driven away. On the drive home, it was discovered the two front tires were unserviceable and dangerous. A third party got my wife's attention, out of concern, to let her know how dangerous it was. They were cracked and had dry rot. For the safety of my wife and son, we had to pay to get those tires replaced. It was over $1k.Those two tires were identified at an earlier inspection by my wife and a salesperson. They said they would be changed during the buying process, that never happened. From my experience, I will never go to a Camping World again due to the above statement.

Service Department is another story... Currently having issues with the hitch that was installed. We are trying to work with they service department to have the 5th wheel hitch they recommended removed. We will see. Have sent pictures and video. Let them know as soon as we noticed the issue. Have only had the whole set up for just over a week. When we first left... Everyone we worked with from Lana at the front desk, to Big AL in sales, Sam and Russ in finance and David during our final walk through were professional and knowledgeable. We look forward to many more years of camping. Thank you.

Patrick Hart - knowledgeable, friendly, honest….everything I expect from a professional. I’ve been in the automotive business for 48 years (retired). I’ve dealt with countless salespeople. I would and do recommend Patrick to anyone who is interested in a good and fair deal on a new or used RV.

We recently purchased a used toy hauler in the valley without a weight distribution hitch. I phoned the store and was helped by Sandy. Since we were a distance from the store she asked a tech to stay a few minutes past their normal off-the-clock time on a Saturday to have the ball mounted. She was very imformative and professional. Later as we tried to put it together in a store parking lot a few miles from CW, a man stopped to offer assistance. Turns out his name was Mike, a manager from Camping World. Mike helped us finish up the install and was an angel when we needed one. Thank you to you both.

Ryan the salesman was terrible he lied to me from the start. When I got there he told me I was able to leave with the trailer that day. Then after he makes the sale , of course, then he tells me I will get a “call from finance by then end of that day if not tomorrow”. Now I’m mad because I thought I was leaving with a trailer that day. He give you a email and number to text and says it goes directly to him he never responds. So I have to call the front desk and he he’s either unavailable or when he is available he tells me again “you’ll get a call by the end of the day if not tomorrow”. I didn’t hear from finance for a week and a half. So if Ryan didn't lie to me come the start my experience would have been much better because finance and all the management was great to me.
