We had a very unpleasant experience and felt extremely pressured to make a decision on the spot. We told the salesperson that we would take time to decide and call back later, but she responded by saying the dresses might no longer be available by then. When we expressed that we felt rushed, her response was, 'You know what, I’m done.' The bride was overwhelmed, and we all felt uneasy with the limited color options that matched her preferences. While I understand that this process can be stressful, we were respectful throughout, but the salesperson's unprofessional attitude made the situation much worse.

So my step mother went to this location cause her mother (who had sadly past) had bought a dress from this company and wanted to see if she could alter it cause this dress means a lot to her and she new it didn’t fit. When she had showed this dress to the alter person she said and I quote “oh I hope you don’t think it’s going to fit” she was passive aggressively fat shaming her :( .she was really rude and so was the supervisor, never coming here again. And to think I was going to go here for my wedding :(

My mom had a good experience, but I didn’t. I came to this David’s Bridal on 12/1 for my first wedding dress appointment and my consultant was Marina. My experience was not good to say the least, and the 3 people I had with me that day would agree. On the other hand, my mom had a very good experience finding a party dress after my appointment finished and was helped by a different woman (didn’t get her name, but she was tall and had short hair at the time) who was super awesome, accommodating, helpful, and friendly.
When I walked in I was greeted by some people at the front desk and I felt very welcome, but when I started my appointment with Marina her attitude felt very lackluster, almost bored. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses so I was very anxious and she was giving the vibe she did not want to be at work or help me. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking her questions or asking for her opinion and it made my anxiety way worse. At this point I was just trying to pick out dresses to end my appointment. I wasn’t able to be fully present and really think about what I wanted or enjoy myself.
Yes, technically she did her job (carried the dresses, hung them up in my section, clipped the dresses in the back while I wore them, put a veil on my head, told me about payment plans), but the apathetic way she did the bare minimum made me feel no longer excited about shopping around for a dress. There were times she wasn’t helping my mom fix the trains on the dresses I tried on and my mom had to ask her for help as she stood there and watched her struggle. She also refused to pull a dress for me that had a very long train because she didn’t want to deal with it if I didn’t buy it. I agreed because like I said, I already felt like my mere presence was inconveniencing her. I wasn’t expecting it to be like the tv shows, but I was expecting her to be a little more enthusiastic about her job. She was like this from the very start to the very end of my appointment and I was nothing but nice to her, so I’m not sure why it went the way it did. I even thanked her for helping me before I left, to be polite. I tried to chalk it up to maybe she was having a bad day personally, but after my appointment right before I left I saw her laughing and smiling with her coworkers, so it made me feel like she just didn’t want to help me that day.
I would go back to David’s Bridal (maybe this location and definitely others), but now I feel like I need to call before I go in and specifically ask for a consultant that’s going to be helpful and friendly. This experience almost completely ruined wedding dress shopping for me. I went to the Scottsdale location yesterday (12/15) to try on more dresses and I had an AMAZING experience there. Completely blew my appointment at the Avondale location out of the water. I’m glad I didn’t let one employee who needs to be retrained deter me from trying other locations.

Horrible experience! I will never walk into another David's Bridal or consider them to anyone! I was the first one to walk in as soon as they open but yet I had to ask for help as I surrounded the front desk while others behind me was getting helped as soon as they walked in the door. I then asked "Marina" for help and if looks could kill I would be dead. She was totally stand offish and hesitated to assist me. I was the one that was looking for the dresses and sizes and taking them to the dressing room. All she did was write my name down on a magnet to put it on the dressing room. Horrible service.

I had an unexpected miscarriage and had to miss my event obviously not by choice .. and when I went in to see if instead of pick up I could return the dress they wouldn’t make an exception to return the dress because I didn’t have a paper receipt. I’m very disappointed because when I had got the call to come pick up the dress I explained the situation to the representative and she told me to specifically come in on a Sunday to be able to talk to a manager who could make an exception for my unexpected emergency but when the time came I went in and spoke to the manager and she”couldn’t do anything for me”.

If I could give a zero i would. I came in with my best friend to look for a wedding dress and the lady was rude and acted like doing something besides smacking her gums behind the counter was a inconvenience to her. I asked if she had any black dresses she rolled her eyes at me and said she only had 2 and if I wanted to try them on i would have take a appointment in a rude manner. I didn't think it was to much of a big deal to be helped considering there was 3 of them and not one customer in site. They definitely need to be retrained in customer service since your clients could be spending $2000 plus in ur locations. If you don't like people don't work with people that come to you for one of the happiest days of there lives, just so you can ruin it by being a miserable person.

If I could give less stars I would. This is THE WORST experience I’ve had trying to look for a dress. Especially since I didn’t have help and when I point out a dress that I loved and I’m told no you can’t wear that there’s no way you’ll fit in it…. I already have body image issues that’s extremely inappropriate.

Carlos and the manager Andi were amazing! After almost 5 appointments, I found the ONE (after finding it on two previous times, I know! I am not an easy one ?). Carlos & Andi were patient, kind and very helpful to me. ? After many dresses and opinions I found the one. Again, Carlos and Andi were great in paying attention to detail, listening to my goals, and gave their best every time I went. Mil Gracias Carlos ? Your time and dedication is extremely valuable.

Carlos and Marina were extremely helpful, kind, and amazing helping me and my 8 bridesmaids. They did an amazing job helping everyone get dresses, sizes, clips to adjust dresses and were very professional in their work. I honestly really appreciated them with that many bridesmaids to work with, they nailed it!

I had a great experience today finding my wedding dress at David’s Bridal! My stylist was Carlos and he was so patient, really sweet and helpful throughout my whole appointment. I felt very comfortable with him. I will be sure to suggest other future brides to check out David’s Bridal!

Went in to find a dress for my son’s wedding. Ciera was FANTASTIC! Super helpful in helping me find the perfect dress. She gave her honest opinion and had wonderful suggestions. Found the perfect dress at a great price. The alteration specialist was on site as well and was very helpful and reasonably priced.

We took in 2 dresses for alterations and I can say both the ladies including the one that seemed to be in training were phenomenal very kind, gentle, and respectful. Due to the timing we did have to pay a rush fee but I did feel “heard” when I explained that one of the dresses just recently arrived and it had already been a concern about the short amount of time and how they were going to work with me with the rush fee and not feel stressed about it. I’m really thankful that they were understanding and worked with me on that issue. We had a great experience altogether.
