I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my husband and I have received at Ken Garff Gateway Chevrolet. We have been dealing with an unresolved transmission issue for several months—an issue that your service department has already identified but has yet to properly address.
Over this period, my husband has brought the vehicle into both Gateway Chevrolet and Sands Chevrolet multiple times. Each visit has resulted in significant delays and no lasting resolution. The transmission should have been repaired during the initial diagnosis; unfortunately, that did not occur.
Two weeks ago, my husband once again brought the vehicle into the Gateway Chevrolet service department. Since then, we have been without the vehicle and were not provided with an estimated timeframe for diagnosis or repair. We only recently received a call confirming what we already knew—that the transmission needs a full replacement. We were also informed that the necessary parts are on back order and may take several weeks to arrive. Once the parts become available, the transmission will need to be completely rebuilt, which could extend the repair timeline by several additional weeks—or even months.
To make matters worse, the vehicle has been deemed undriveable by your service department. This is our only means of transportation, and we have now been without a vehicle for two weeks, in addition to the previous times the vehicle has been in your shop. Despite these extended delays, our requests for a loaner or rental vehicle have been denied.
This situation is unacceptable. As customers, we have no control over parts shortages or internal service department delays. However, it is the dealership’s responsibility—and by extension, Chevrolet’s—to ensure that customers are not left without transportation while known issues are being addressed. It is my understanding that Chevrolet is aware of ongoing transmission issues in many of your truck models, which makes it even more imperative that you provide an appropriate solution.
If the repair is expected to take an extended period of time, we expect a loaner or rental vehicle to be provided at no cost. We should not have to incur additional expenses due to delays beyond our control.
I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally. If necessary, I am fully prepared to escalate this issue to higher levels within Chevrolet and Ken Garff management to reach a satisfactory resolution.

I brought my 2018 Denneli Turbo Dessel HD to have over three thousand in service and was very disappointed in their lack of communication and total disregard of cleaning their grease and oil prints from all over my truck hood and crome. Not only once but both times I had to bring it in. I had to call multiple times to get any updates or get an call back from my adviser. Would NOT recommend for service!!!

This is Jeremy Cook. I was told my vehicle would be fixed that can Garff Chevrolet for $2500 at that time. I told everybody there I have autism so they need to communicate in a proper way with me so that I will understand I got my vehicle back after a second visit And they said they still don’t know what’s wrong yet the first time they said it would be fixed for the $2500 so I decided to maybe buy a car or lease a car there and all they would give me for my car was $1500 when I just paid them $2500 to fix It. Does anybody else feel like this may be was discrimination I don’t know

I give Ken Garff 0 starts. Why? Well because on my last service on October 21 2025 they stole from my truck. I left money in the middle compartment to see if they will go through our vehicle, and they did, they took money out of there. I've called the dealership 2 days in a row and can't speak to a Manager or even get a call back after leaving a message. Very disappointed at chevy! They have lost all.mu trust after all this.

Bought car on 4 of July sale.
Manager Dustin Kereluk just posted response on this review but has not bother to call me after many messages.
Terrible service for a BRAND NEW CAR ..I GOT A LEMON 🍋. LEMON AND CAN NOT MAKE LEMONADE!
EXCUSE: The car is too new and all parts need to be special order, mean while I have to make a monthly payment.
BULLSHIT OVER AND OVER! Got damm nightmares……! No one to run too to fix the problem correctly!

The dealership has a great selection of new and used vehicles and the employees are very friendly and helpful. We traded in a 2020 F150 for a 2026 Chevy Z71 2500 truck and drove our new truck home within 5 hours!
