10+ year great clips customer, on top of that I always I tip 200%. walked in for a undercut, place was empty. I have always been charged a neck trim. stylist said it would be the price of a full hair cut. franchise policy. $18 for a 3min cut to take 1 inch off 1/4 of my head? you’re absolutely out of your damn mind. shame on whoever owns this franchise.

I have never been to this particular location, and will certainly never go back. Not only was the stylist rude, she did not listen to me and cut my hair so badly it looks like she gave me a page boy cut. I asked for a quick blow dry and she told me it was an additional $35.00 charge
My husband was getting his haircut done at the same time and they were blowing him dry
I told him to have them stop because it was additional money. The young lady cutting my husband's hair asked what I was talking about so I told her. She said it was $35.00 to style it, not blow it dey. I didn't ask to have it styled. The lady working on my hair says well if you just want it blown out I will do that. I told her no I just wanted to be done so I could leave. My haircut is so bad I can't even style it and cry everytime I look in the mirror. The first and last time I go to that location! Very disappointing experience.

Today was my second time visiting this salon. I couldn’t remember the lady who cut my hair before, but I believe it was the woman in the back booth on the left. I wasn’t sure so I decided to let the first available stylist cut my hair. They both did an amazing job! My logic is, salons that specialize in hair cuts, and when that’s what they do all day, they have to be good at cutting hair! And, they are! They never disappoint!
I wanted to update my review. Today, Breanna did an AMAZING job cutting my hair. This location is staffed with fully capable and talented stylists. I made the mistake of going to another location on McDowell several months ago and the woman did a terrible job. I hadn’t realized I’d gone to the wrong Avondale location. This is truly the best Great Clips in the city of Avondale.

Both me and my husband went to Great Clips and services that we got was good. We both got a nice hair cut. The lady that cut my hair was friendly. Thanks to the staffs that treated us with kindness.

Me and my son received the most awful haircuts from the same Stylist ,Ayeleth, on different occasions. I was hoping he’d get a different person since I’ve been going to this location for two years and have never had an issue before but she ruined his hair couldn’t do the style that was asked and then to top it off cut him on his ear and neck. She cannot style long hair or do layers.
