It’s no wonder why you’re going out of business. NO DISCOUNT WORTH GETTING ROBBED! Says everything is on a discount but the items are still as expensive as it was before. If I could leave no star I would. THANK YOU FOR GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!

Most Sale prices were 20 to 30 percent off, no earth shattering discounts yet. Thread was 40% off.

Would give NO stars if I could the staff here is a joke, store is going out of business and I can see why. They have items randomly place WHEREVER and they ring up completely different than the price shown on signs, if you don’t catch it before you buy you’re SOL and the staff laughs at you and smirks while saying “sorry” absolutely disgusting customer service and I will never step foot inside a Joann’s again.

I love Joann's, but this store is lackluster at best. I go here when I have to, because it's closest to my home, but would much rather plan a trip and go to Ahwatukee due to selection, upkeep of store, and overall organization/cleanliness of store. Unfortunately this store can't keep track of its stock so anytime I pickup in store, I plan on not getting everything I ordered. The store is small, cramped, messy, and understaffed. One thing they do have going for them is I usually don't have to wait too long at checkout, which is much better than I can say about the bell rd location.

Other people have said most everything that needs to be said. It’s unorganized. It’s a mess. Even the staff told us they don’t have enough people. I ordered five bags of batting online to be picked up. I went there 2-1/2 hours later and it wasn’t ready. The employee told me it was supposed to be ready at 1:16. I looked at my phone and it was 1:11. She then told me it would be ready “sometime tomorrow”. My wife asked if we could just pull the product off the shelves ourselves. They said it would be okay. So, we did it and brought the five bags to the register. At least the line was shorter the second time. They scanned the product and said we were okay to go. Not too long after that I received an email stating my order was ready and about a minute later I received an email thanking me for picking it up. A few minutes after that I received an email saying my order was delayed. Other Joann’s our further away but might be a better choice in the future.

I have never seen a filthier store in my life. Trash all over the floor, open supply boxes half unpacked blocking aisles with no staff in sight. As soon as you walk in the doorway, the first thing I noticed was how filthy the floor is. It looks like they haven't cleaned the store in 6 months. Little to no selection for fall decor in October. 👎
Would never return or recommend.

The store has plenty of parking and a great variety of craft, gift and decoration selections to choose from. However, the staffing during the holidays was way under what was needed. Only one person on checkout with no self-checkout option. The line for checkout was over 15 customers today.

8 years ago I gave this place 5 stars. Knocking it down today because they can't seem to hire enough employees. There were perhaps 3 employees in the whole store and they couldn't keep up.
Hire more people and maybe this place will stop looking like a Dollar General and you won't end up staying for an hour just to get some fabric.

So tired of how unorganized this location is. Today I tried to use curbside pickup. I waited for over 15 minutes after parking in the designated spot and checking in. I called the number and got no answer. Finally went inside to pick it up. Took two people to find my order and an additional 10 minutes.

What has happened to JoAnn fabric in Avondale AZ? JoAnn fabric stores used to be so beautiful and clean to walk into and see all the fabric displayed in fashionable styles. Now at least in this location it looks like some sort of an outlet store. The floors are filthy, fabric is just shoved into long rows of disarray. Boxes are laying in between isles and when you go to pay there is no cashier in site. I used to walk in and be inspired to create beautiful clothing or home decor but now I just want to cry. Does it really take that much effort to clean the floors and have them polished? Maybe a button for a cashier to come to the front? I see all the employees working shoving more fabric into the slots but can't the management do something about the way the store looks to customers? Hopefully they will see my review and be embarrassed enough to take some pride in it. Maybe a little inspirational music too? Signed, a once devoted customer.

What a mess! This Joann's was such a disappointment. I needed a simple polyester drapery fabric and couldn't find anything. Boxes everywhere, fabric falling off the shelves. No organization, fabric out of place. One person working the cutting station with 15 customers waiting. WOW!

This store is pretty darn nasty, particularly the bathroom which resembles a wasteland. Are they going through the first stages of closing down?
