I'm kind of baffled by the negative reviews on here. We have been Sam's members for a few years now, and really feel we get good value from our membership. The warehouse is well stocked and laid out, and we save so much here on groceries and gas. Total sticker shock when you go to a regular grocery store and pay the crazy prices of inflation. This Sam's location is our go-to for regular gas fill ups... Just wish they had more gas pumps than they do. We usually come for gas first thing in the morning when they open, or later at night, shortly before close. It helps you avoid the longer lines. We also enjoy using our membership on the road for gas and for other things. Our experience with ordering for pick up has been good to great, and the same with online shopping where they ship it to you (free with Plus membership). I have ordered several things for gifts this way. That really comes in handy at Christmas time. Great clothing values online! We love being able to use our Sam's cash as we earn it, instead of waiting for a once a year redemption opportunity (like Costco). That is wonderful! Having their credit card is a must, the 5% cash back on gas purchases alone pays for the membership and then some. 3% on dining out, and cash back on warehouse purchases, too. Members Mark products are great, we've never had an issue with any of them. Quality is as good or better than the national brands. They stand behind their product and guarantee satisfaction.

No stars if i could leave that but I've done a few online orders at this location and each time it's never been ready and I've had to just go up there and try to find my order which defeats the point of a online pickup order which is so i don't have to go inside they should just not offer online pickup anymore because it's not being handled correctly at all and they don't answer the phone either

I have to say that Sam's pharmacy has turned their service around and they do a fabulous job. So much so that I have transferred all of my medications and those of my mom to Sam's. Great job and great customer service. Thank you!

I went here for a eye doctor appointment with my daughter today and the cafe was great it tasted really good and affordable for all the grocery shopping!! Would 100% recommend for familys on a budget

When I lived in Illinois, I used to buy my frozen shrimp at Costco, because they were much closer than our Sam's, but now that we live here, the Avondale Sam's is very close, so I have bought their frozen shrimp twice now, and both times it has been very bad. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried again and it was the same. Both times every single shrimp had some freezer burn, and, although it appeared, that the shrimp were split and had the poop vein removed, over half the shrimp still had dirt that I had to clean myself. I went the distance and drove to Costco yesterday and the frozen shrimp were thawed today and were pink, clean, and perfect! What's more, they were less expensive than Sam's. Never again!

purchased an auto battery from sams club 2 years ago this month with a 3 year complete replacement warranty. Brought the dead battery in and they guy tests it and says, we need to charge it and if its still bad we will replace it but not with the same quality battery if you want to wait 1 1/2 hours. I guess they don't want to honor their warranty so beware. Sam's Walmart and many others are NOT standing behind their warranty.

No wonder they have two stars here! Did scan and go like always however it's not working! Customer service and associates basically said oh well nothing we Can do its just not working. Unacceptable! I forgot my wallet and just had my phone so I had to just leave my things. No one answers the corporate number either! Something needs to be done here for the ohwell attitude and due to the scan and go not working my time was waisted! Please step it up here!

With the exception that it is conveniently located for me, Sam's Club is to Circle K as Costco is to QT. Need, I say more. And I am referring specifically to customer service only.

I signed up for phone service thru sams club. Nothing promised was delivered. I was promised 150.00 per month for 6 lines...280.00 is what I am charged without adjustment.. it was refused by att Also 1000.00 trade in they gave me approx 21.00 trade in value for working s21 with minor scratches.. it cost me 1000.00 2 yrs ago value should have been 800.00 any condition. Not honored either. The worst customer service I have ever received and the service itself is worse then tmobile. I was duped don't be me.

The inventory is off all the time and this has been like this for several years now. Don't trust the amounts on the big items as well seems like they can't count those either. They couldn't tell how many grills they have and of which kind.

I called this Sams Club (Dysart in Avondale)to ask if the Photo Department still takes Passport Photos. I'm still on hold as I type this review. It's been over 30 minutes now! It's such an inconvenience & very disappointing to be put on hold & forgotten about! If I could give NO stars I would...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Horrible customer service from member of management named Alejandra. I asked a question about price matching to the cashier, who called Alejandra to the register to confirm. When she walked up and I informed her that I had a Costco membership as well and an item was $80 cheaper there, she replied "we don't price match!" Didn't ask any questions about the validity of the price at her competitor, just said her statement. Then when I said I'll just grab it from Costco, she proceeds to grad the item out of the cart and walk away. Website says THEY DO price match, within requirements, but she didn't even have the sense to explain her reasoning or look into mine. I will not be renewing my membership.

All o the staff at this store are awesome!! I'd like to highlight a few: we had some issues with our prescriptions and Lisa helped us get it straightened out. The pharmacist, Claudia is one of the nicest and friendliest people around. She is extremely helpful and and she gives a great shot! (No pain). In the meat department, today I came in looking for a good piece of beef to use in a new recipe. Juan was extremely helpful, not only did he help me select the cut, but then cut it in the way I needed. You may think that these people are only doing their jobs, but their excellence is in the way they do it--friendly, professional and they take pride in their work, true professionals. Makes it a fun experience to shop in this store:) Thank you!

If you go to this sams club location I recommend only going into the store, not doing pickup, they are always slow bringing your order out, and for my pickup today from 10-11 that I placed 2 days ago, they didn't have it ready until 10:58! What a joke this locations pickup is!
