The staff was welcoming and the technician was extremely helpful with it being my first mammogram. She took her time to explain what was going to happen.

I called the Avondale location yesterday morning to make an urgent appointment for a CT scan. On hold, I was notified of a 6-minute wait to take my call, a computerized voice asked me to press a number for a call-back instead of waiting on hold. I did, and was confirmed that I would receive a call back when my next-in-line turn came. The call never came. I called back 20 minutes later and finally got through. As of this afternoon, , that call has never been returned.There have been issues in every one of my interactions with this Simon Med location. One of these was a charge for nearly $500 which resulted because Simon Med incorrectly billed my insurance. After I repeatedly sent the information, my insurance company told me Simon Med had not billed them. Finally, my account went to collections! With United Health Care's assistance, I filed a complaint and UHC sent a Cease and Desist order to Simon Med, threatening legal action if they billed me again.I would never choose to use Simon Med, but this is what my insurance company requires.1/18/2024, another appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 1:20 pm and was told to arrive 45 minutes early, apparently to prep for a CT scan. I arrived at 12:30. And waited. And waited. Finally, at 1:00 pm, I asked about my late appointment. "Oh, your appointment is for 1:20, and there are two patients ahead of you." No one knew why I was told to arrive early. After checking around, it was discovered that I didn't need the prep.Still, I wasn't called back until after 1:30. Over an hour of my time, wasted unnecessarily.I'm just sick of this place. They just can't seem to get their act together.

I had to get multiple scans done on very short notice and the SimonMed team did an amazing job for me. They were not only very professional but also extremely respectful of the situation I had going on, because of them I was able to get the correct care I needed and I was back to being healthy shortly after!

Easy to make my appointment, didn’t have to wait to get one! When I arrived, checkin was quick since I filled out the patient forms online ahead of time. The technician was friendly and professional.
