But if you want to really learn about the Verde Valley and the surrounding area, you have to stop in and see the fantastic ? ? ?, pottery, artifacts, and be ready to read. The history that has been collected with approval will just amaze you. This place is like selecting your next 15 or 20 vacations. From there, you will discover AZ, NM, CO, UT, and CA.”
“We visited Camp Verde on our way from Sedona to Scottsdale on Boxing Day and met the wonderful Gerry-Ann at the Visitor Centre - Gerry-Ann is a fountain of knowledge and had a real passion for the area and recommended that we visit Camp Verde Fort as well as Montezuma Castle - we very much enjoyed our time there - thank you Gerry-Ann!”
“Post 93 has it going on. Stop in on a Wednesday between 11a and 2p and have a world class Bacon Green Chili Burger with homemade potato salad and fries for only $8!! The prices can't be beat. Thursdays there is a salad buffet and chefs choice for the meal. You won't leave hungry or disappointed! (PS it's open to the public for meals)”
