I have been to Karsten’s Ace many times. I love the new convenient location. The staff is always helpful, whether you just need to find the correct size bolt or something larger.

I have only visited this store one time. The customer service was the best I have ever seen. They treated me with such understanding, and helped me make decisions about our new deck. Our remodeling task will be made so much easier. So Happy this new Ace Hardware store is close to where we live!

Awful management!!! My parents' neighborhood is located right next to this location, and The Ace Hardware fire alarm was left on ALL NIGHT. The fire department arrived when it started going off at 8:30pm, found no fire, so they contacted Ace management and asked them to send someone to turn off the alarm. The fire department said that Ace management REFUSED. Apparently, Ace decided they DON'T CARE about all the people (that WERE potentially regular customers) who are their neighbors NEEDING SLEEP tonight. It seems they decided to leave the fire alarm BLARING ALL NIGHT, from 8:30pm until 6:50am in the morning! Everyone in the neighborhood is FURIOUS. They will NOT get ANY of these neighbors' business.
The alarm was finally turned off at 6:50am, right before Ace opened at 7am.
We called at 7am and Ace denied it was their alarm, even though the police and fire department said they had talked to Ace management and they refused to turn it off, so they wouldn't even take responsibility for their actions.
The pictures show the back of the Ace building with the light flashing while the alarm blared. Recorded video, too.

Can always count on Ace. No matter how odd a plumbing fitting we need, they never disappoint.

Karsten‘s Ace is always so helpful and friendly. They offer wide range of items that I can get from my local hardware store without having to go to a big box store and drive further and not have talented experts in the store to help me with my projects. I can’t recommend them enough!

Was happy to see a hardware store so close to our new home. I went in Friday for two specific items. There was an associate right inside the door who asked if I needed help. I told him what I needed and he led me to the aisle and then dissapeared. I was able to finally locate what I needed and went to power tools. 3 associates were standing nearby gossiping about someone quitting. I finally asked if one of them could help me. The associate was obviously irritated that I had interrupted them, and was very little help. Purchased one small item and the young lady at the register was lovely. Ended up ordering the power tool and accessories from Amazon.

They have a much better hardware section than my local Ace Hardware. I was told they are moving to an old closed grocery store about a mile away from current location.

Horrible experience with homophobic staff- three staff members swarmed us as soon as we got in the store and accused us of shoplifting when we decided not to purchase our items and leave the store because we were uncomfortable. We received no apology upon showing the clerk that we put the items down and were, in fact, not shoplifting. Would not recommend this location if you have tattoos or are visibly queer. Also, they don’t carry plants. Boo!
