I ordered a cake ahead of time of my partners birthday today. I get a call telling me they can't make my cake. THE DAY OF! I'm livid because no one can make a cake this late of notice. This was extremely unprofessional. Will not be ordering here again.

Waaaaaay more expensive to shop here than anyplace else in town! And it's not the greatest location. Perhaps the worst ran Safeway I've ever seen, always a grungy feel to everything and the layout is pretty atypical for a grocery store

I have never had a problem with pickup and go orders. First time coming to this location and the wait time was beyond unreasonable. My order time was for noon. I live 37 minutes away, the other location in chandler is 42minutes away. Normally I go there but I figured I'm tired of that drive. So I'll try casa grand. Check at 11:15am says they're shopping for my order. Drive here. Park, and after a few minutes of sitting it changed to delay. I wait an entire hour 12:51 and call customer service. They transfered me and talked to some random gentleman. He said it'll be ready in 10minutes. Here I am at 2:10pm. If you haven't guessed by this point. I'm still waiting for my pickup order. Of 18 items(10 of which are bananas). I couldn't cancel my order because they first marked it as shopping for order at 11:15(even though they did nothing and switched it to delayed.) Whoever runs this department obviously snacks on lead paint chips dipped in fluoride.

They have some really good specials. The store is always clean and the fruit is fresh. But the prices are a bit higher than the other grocery stores around town.

This morning I placed a flash delivery and ended up going to the going to the store to pick it up. An order came, but it was the wrong order. The delivery person said they would make it right, but nothing came. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to correct the problem. I then went to the store waited another 10 minutes in the customer service line and was finally told where to go to talk to the delivery people. I finally did get my order but was disappointed that I didn't get the convenience of delivery. I have shopped at Safeway for many years and I find the workers very helpful.

This is one of the best Safeways. The store is huge, well stocked, good quality and reasonable prices for a retail store

I bought a $6.99 chicken meal from their cold deli section. It was horrible! In general they are overpriced. The food in their deli and their bakery is really subpar. Yuck!
