About Blue Wash Trailhead
Blue Wash Trailhead offers a short, fun, and easy hike of about three miles with very little elevation, mostly within a valley or canyon. The trail descends past beautiful rock formations, gorgeous boulders, and a dry creek bed, leading to a waterfall. This waterfall can range from a cute trickle to a more substantial flow, sometimes forming a small pool, depending on recent rainfall. The scenery is unexpectedly green and lovely with flowers, trees, and butterflies, providing peaceful solitude. The trail is generally well-maintained but lacks signage, so using a mapping system or downloaded map is recommended to avoid losing the way, especially on the return. Parking is easy just off the main road. The hike involves some scrambling over rocks and navigating small gravel that can be slippery, so shoes with good grip are advised. It is suitable for young families and dogs, is not typically super busy, and offers a few shady spots to rest. There is no cell service in the area. It is a short, turn-around hike best done early in the day to avoid heat.

This is a fun trail to do. It takes a couple hours to complete. There’s a nice waterfall that you can find closer to the end of the trail. Use a good mapping system as the trail lacks signage so you can lose your way.

Pretty chill 3 mile hike with very little elevation. You are mostly in a valley the whole time. I did this with my mom and two dogs. I went in May - the waterfall was cute :)

Beautiful little hike with some gorgeous views and a fun waterfall at the end (depending on weather of course). My family had a great time exploring the area. The trail is well maintained while still feeling like you’re out in the wild a little bit.
