Kiwanis Marketplace is a well-organized, clean thrift store that supports the community through its charitable work. As a not-for-profit organization, it donates to kids’ projects, scholarships, and other community requests, mainly focusing on funding for other non-profits in the north valley. The store offers a wide variety of items, including furniture, clothes, knick-knacks, and random goods. Customers often find good deals, such as a $1 chair, and appreciate the neat display of clothing, which is clean and easy to browse. The furniture selection is notable, with many items available, and those donating large pieces can rely on helpful staff to assist with pickup, as seen when furniture was collected quickly and efficiently. While most reviews praise the friendly staff and the store’s mission, some customers have experienced impatience or rudeness from staff, especially with young children. Overall, Kiwanis Marketplace is valued for its community spirit, helpful volunteers, and the positive impact it has on kids and local organizations. Visitors and donors appreciate it as a place to find good deals, donate items easily, and support a cause that helps children and the community.

Eclectic variety of used items. Lots of books, furniture and housewares. Some tools. Friendly service. Decent prices.

In an area bereft of good bargain hunting and thrifting, this place is my favorite. I’m hesitant to share it with anyone because I don’t want it to be overrun by resellers. I’ve already noticed the prices creeping up a bit lately in response to this.
