There for sure will be plenty of negative reviews here because it’s a - well, it’s a pharmacy. They’re wicked busy. But I’ll tell you in a chaotic environment with people pulling you in a dozen different directions, Ben is an asset worth recognizing. Knowledgeable, kind, and an absolute professional, Ben is the first person I ask for when calling. Behind the scenes, Nicole is by far the most amazing pharmacist we’ve ever had. She’s always smiling, knows your birthday by heart (at least me and my family), and is quick to tell you if she is behind and will next an extra minute or two. These folks are like family - Nicole, Ben?! We’re coming over for Thanksgiving!

The Pharmacist at this Safeway is awful. She is rude and her word means nothing. My husband went in on Saturday to fill 2 prescriptions. We needed them before our trip early on Monday. She told us that she personally would make sure they were ready for pick up on Sunday. We arrived at 4:30pm on Sunday and only 1 was ready. She said the other medicine needed to be found because it was put back on the wrong shelf. She found it and it is now 2 minutes before 5:00pm, closing time, and she kept saying that she needed to close. She put my husbands phone number in the system and stated that the insurance and number did not give any discount and we would need to pay full price. He told her that the insurance is under his wife's phone number but she would not put it in because it was closing time. She started putting the gates down and said she had plans. We paid full price because we needed them before we left on our trip. Will call the Store Director on our way to ask for help. She was so rude. We will never us Safeway Pharmacy again.

Flud shot, covid shot, boosters, prescriptions. Good place to come. Clean, friendly pharmacists. They even give you a 10% off coupon for your grocery shopping.

Have had repeated incidents of rudeness and was ignored today at the deli and teeter with rudeness at checkout and not given monopoly tickets will not be going back. I work in Cave Creek and live in Phoenix so this location has been convenient for years but I will not continue to do business here.

Beware: Purchased a Super Bowl balloon for $16.99, ran into Fry's and the exact balloon was $8.99. Safeway's making $ off this community for greed. Learn from my mistake, shop else where if you want to save $

Staff is always friendly and nice. Never too busy. No self-check out (which I'd like), but the fact that it's usually not too busy there makes up for that. We VERY much appreciate not being hassled for being mask-free and have been choosing to shop at Safeway now (we used to be Fry's regulars) since the Mask orders were issued. The prices are great, the produce & dairy & bakery always fresh and well-stocked. I've been telling like-minded friends in the area that this Safeway is a great place to shop. Friendly & kind employees too.

Told by staff and manager that masks are supposed to be required. I have witnessed people being turned away prior who weren't wearing masks so they're sending out a very mixed message. Our county has a mandate. Just returned from store where I counted 6 individuals from 4 different parties in checkout alongside us without masks. Customer in front of us even bragged about businesses in area (including the store) not enforcing masks. This unfortunate attitude towards enforcing a county mandate is what drives those of us with underlying conditions elsewhere. I've been a loyal customer for a while but am going to have to find a different place to shop where my family is safe.

I was so happy to see all employees and all customers wearing face masks today, and social distancing. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything in stock that was on my list, even Lysol wipes. Keep up the good work!

I regularly shopped at Safeway in Anthem. Cave Creek appears to be similar layout. I trust the brand.

I'm not sure why the reviews show this location lower. I know that some of the Safeway's in the valley have had upgrades in decor and all, but the folks here, and the services are top notch. My son used to work for a large chain and managed the fresh fruits and vegetables area. I'm always on the lookout for places that match up to the effort he put into making sure things were stocked and displayed beautifully. Thanks Safeway - your staff do a great job - your cashiers are friendly, and the store is clean!

Fine place, I guess. Be prepared to be with young teenager staff who can't be bothered. Staff is less then ideal. Lots of pets seem to just be able to wonder in here as well, it's a bit odd. Is what it is, I guess.

Stopped in real quick to grab something to drink... the bathrooms are always so dirty... I haven't been to this location in a very long time, so I was hoping they would of fixed that issue... nope! Also the people who work the check outs are not the nicest and always seem to talk amongst themselves more than the customers... even the customer service manager... she talked to her employees in a loud obnoxious voice, mind you more than she did me, while checking me out. I will say the young man working at Starbucks was super nice and friendly!! He didn't have a name tag so I can't give him kudos directly!!

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! False advertising, rude cashiers (Mike)and rude and inappropriate managers (jung). They do lot consider the needs of the shoppers, corporate is trying to fool shoppers into buying "deals" that are mis-advertised!

Obviously, no one in Safeway management ever reads these posts. Delivery service is awful!! Don't deliver your groceries as scheduled. Don't even text, email, or call you that they're not going to be delivered. When you call the help line, you're put on hold for an hour until you finally hang up! Ok, so let's leave an email and a voice mail to them? Right? Well, they don't even reply to those either. If you're not going to do online grocery delivery relight, why don't they just get out of that business? Go to Instacart app. At least, it's efficient and professional for online grocery shopping.
