Tatum Ranch is owned by Arcis. They are the worst. Have oversold memberships, have not invested or upgraded the clubhouse ever. They treat you like you are at Disney Land, they just gouge you every chance they get . The pro shop is pitiful, especially the head pro Tim, and hs assistant Jim is even worse. The pro shop comes and goes as they eventually hate Arcis alsoIf you can afford it Go anywhere else before you help this crooked company called Arcis out. Arcis is the K-mart of golf, they are not even at Walmart level. Don’t fall for their greed

Great course. Great pool and restaurant.

This club is owned by Arcis, a notoriously cheap company that has a history of driving golf clubs into the ground. Terrible experience. The golf course itself is sort of a B- track. Inside, where I worked, the locker room is shabby with overhead lights that have been out for months, worn out carpeting, and bathroom fixtures that should have been replaced years ago. It has the look and feel of a muni. I did my best to try and improve the look and feel with some nice touches, but eventually the company stopped me. "We are on a budget freeze". That went on for weeks. They slashed my hours to almost nothing. Meanwhile, the club is raking in dough, as the tee sheet is full every dayThe Head Pro told me that when he got there, range balls were all old and beaten up. He finally just went out and bought new ones on his own, but by now, those balls are probably garbage too and I doubt they'll let him buy new ones anytime soon. My position included managing the locker rooms, cleaning and shining members' shoes, along with other routine tasks to keep the place running. Male members are unbelievably cheap (the ladies are great), the cleaning crew frequently didn't show up and I had to wash, dry and fold towels and do other stuff that they didn't do. Eventually, Arcis refused to purchase basic cleaning supplies that cost like $10-$15, and the job became untenable. Like trying to plug a leak in a sinking rowboat with scotch tape. The place is a messManagement is very weak. The first GM I met was fired for drinking on the job, and the next was a yes-man who couldn't or wouldn't get anything done. He quaked in fear of ownership. From my very first day, employees let me know how much they dislike working there. "We'll see how long you last. HAHA" As a potential member, if you're looking for mediocrity sliding toward bad, this is a good club to join. As an employee, if you want to be underpaid while also doing two jobs, this is your place. I met a few members who were cool, and they too all complained about the place. I have nothing good to say about this club, its management or its ownerThis was a terrible work experience.

I've been a member at Tatum Ranch for 7/8 years. Arcis, who manages TR appears to be only concerned with profits vs Member Experience. They've increase dues by 25% the last 2 years and expect Arcis to raise them again in November. Of course we as members have nothing to show for the increase. Pace of play is average at best. The course was originally capped at 375 memberships and at last count in our member portal we have over 1400 names fighting for tee times. I would assume that actual number of memberships is around 450.. Yep oversold! BUYER BEWARE!

Poorly managed, with over 1700 members for 18 holes. Can't get a tee time and can't keep anyone on staff for longer than six months.I appreciate the response Mr. Nash, but the Tatum Ranch membership directory has over 1700 members listed as of last week. The ongoing challenge of keeping employees and management has been in issue since I joined the club more than six years ago. Aarcis hasn't been able to keep a GM or head pro for longer than six or seven months at a time. Kicking out the kid's academy with 30 days notice was classless.I find it interesting that you are so quick to respond to the reviews, but have yet to respond to my resignation letter to the club that was sent more than a week ago.

I’m a junior at the club for about 2 and a half years. The club during busy season always has tournaments and you can’t ever make tee times. Also the pace of play there is terrible. The course conditions are very good but the way the club is ran is terrible. Don’t recommend joining

I am a member at Tatum Ranch - using an alias as we can't write bad reviews or we may get kicked out. There are over 1000 members here and no one wants you to join. There are no tee times available! Everyone is online at 6:30am racing to secure a tee time in 8 days! Then members trade them with their member friends. There has been a revolving door of golf professionals and GMs over the last 5 years as Arcis (company who owns Tatum Ranch) apparently doesn't treat their employees well either. A 15 year relationship with Dan Campbell Golf Academy (who rented space for golf instruction for juniors) was dissolved in a 2 line memo telling them they must vacate in 30 days. Kids and parents are devastated as no good option has been offered. The food is not very good and there has been a revolving door of employees in the food service also!As it appears Arcis has hired someone to reply to yelp posts - please pass this along to Arcis - STOP BRINGING IN NEW MEMBERS just to put more $ in your pockets!

Would not recommend!!We joined as social members to use the fitness room and lap swim. During the tour, the pool was clean. Over the 4 months we were there, the pool always had debris floating. The last straw was a dead rabbit in the pool on the bottom!! It had been in there long enough to sink to the bottom. A serious health hazard!! We called right away to cancel our membership and we’re told the $300 initiation fee was not refundable due to company policy. What about a breech of contract. The pool is not cared for at all. Very disappointing!

The golf course is amazing although the greens keepers do not know how to move and replace new and old pin locations. They put the grain of the replaced hole facing the wrong way causing the hole to raise up and also thus killing the grass of that hole location since the grass can’t grow with the grain fighting against it. Now to the reason they get 1 star. The staff is atrocious. The head pro hasn’t introduced himself to 90% of the members and we rarely interact with him. He doesn’t handle problems when they arise, he delegates the work out to employees who are even worse than himself. The food and beverage team is sub par to say the least. When you are playing you will be lucky to see the cart girl more than once a round. Employees don’t respect the members, the only ones that show any type of respect or really do any type of work is the outside club cleaning crew. I couldn’t suggest this “country club” any less. If it wasn’t for the group of golfers who create a welcoming atmosphere this place would be nothing. Food is awful. Drinks are strong (one plus). Don’t purchase any type of clothing or equipment from the pro shop, it won’t arrive, and if it does it won’t be right. Having to work with any employee in the pro shop is like banging your head off a cement block for 30 minutes. Terrible management, terrible employees, greens crew doesn’t know what their doing. I suggest you go elsewhere and spend your hard earned money on a country club that treats you like a country club member.
