I love this place!, My child has been enrolled since she was a infant and is currently in after school care. She absolutely loves it and she's benefited so much from the programs and the staff. (10/10) would recommend.

This May be a long Review, but it will be Honest in every aspect... I know my 3yo child is not prefect, which child is? my child was enrolled in this day care for about a year and a half and here is all the issues we ran into.. First when he was in the 2yo room. it was "we love your child so much, your child is so smart, then it got to "well, your child throws a fit and screams if he is having a hard time, can we call you and have you talk and help calm them down"the treats to disenroll him started at potty training, "if your child is not fully potty trained by the time he is three, we will have to disenroll him. Well, We made it to the 3yo class room without him getting disenrolled. but every now and again, he would still throw a fit (as three years old do). but, at this point they stepped up and realized the three year old classroom was not challenging enough for him, so they put him in with the four year old classroom, where he thrived, little to no throwing fits, learning how to trace shapes and letters, bringing home papers of his daily accomplishments.(wait for it) then they decided (because of their policy for 4yo room must be able to fully dress and undress themselves) they put him back in the 3yo room. the other factor being they didn't want to "challenge him to much and get ahead of the rest of the kids his age. isn't that what Schools and educators are supposed to help with? I mean " Valley LEARING center. Its in their name.so Now we are back in the 3yo room. within a week, he had his first 3yo fit, and a teacher tried to calm him down, and my son hit the teacher on the arm. Ok, As parents, we do not condone this, and we tried as hard as we could to make sure this doesn't happen again. we were immediately called to to come pick him up.. once we picked him Up, this is when the Director, Kelsey decided to add her medical advise and ask my wife if we have had him tested for ADHD or AUTISM. Umm you are not aloud to give those types of Diagnosis, you do not have a degree that allows you to. and by the other reviews on here, its not the only time she has done it. This is when the treats of disenrolling him started again. The very next day, we went to pick him up, I joined my wife for pickup, and Kelsey was just stopping short of getting on her Knees apologizing for recommending we get him evaluated, Which is proof she knew what she did was wrong.. I can go on to say, My wife works in the medical field and has worked hand in hand with children with Autism. So Prior to even being at VLC he has been seen and diagnosed as a very typical 2 and 3yo boy.so Over the Next 7 months. we had one more comment from Kelsey about Evaluation of our child. We had three more instances where my child hit a teacher, they will tolerate my son being sent home at the end of the day with bite marks and being hit by multiple other children and not disenrolling those kids because "well, this does happen with kids" Where do you think he learned to hit? wasn't from our house. he has no other younger siblings that can teach him.So We got a final call From Kelsey a few weeks ago asking us to Come pick him up because he hit a teacher again (the fourth time) and they were disenrolling him.. I do Not need to go into the next part of the conversation, when we picked him up, But I will say, the conversation between Kelsey, My Wife and myself, is fully recorded, since i trust a drug addict more than I do anything that comes from Kelsey mouth...Kelly (the owner) says her teachers have "certifications and training" to be able to give medical advise. There are no "certifications that allow you to Diagnose Autism or ADHD only degrees. Kelly Then asked why I had my son there is we weren't nappy. Well, As i told you Kelly. Lack of options. any business is only as good as their ownership and management. There are a few great teachers there. So If you have a normal child that throws fits and acts their age, this is not the place. Kelsey Wont tolerate it.

My 3 kids went here for over two years. When 'watching' the kids get difficult, they have no problem calling you at work saying pick them up.They suggested that our 4 year old had problems, because he was difficult. After taking him to his pediatrician, kids therapy, and talking with his preschool teachers . The professionals agree that the problems he was facing were environmental to VLC.Picked up kids on a Wednesday they say that he is kicked out after 2 more days; Friday.. Thanks for the time to find a new place. The kiddos have been going to a new place for a month with no problems at all.

I've have been taking my three kids here for 9+ years, and have NEVER had a problem. Yeah kids they will be kids, but the teachers here handle everything with such grace, and such respect for the kids. Their communication to us parents about what's going on is spot on. They way they care for your child when you leave them for the day, just completely warms my heart. I know there are always concerns with what happens at daycares with what's going on in the world today, but this establishment doesn't except anything but the best. If I could give them a higher rating, I would!Thank you guys, it means the world to me that you treat my kids with such love and compassion. I highly recommend this location!

Please don't choose this daycare! We were told by VLC that our 3yr expressed difficult behaviors such as crying, tantrums, throwing stuff. We found this strange because he didn't display these behaviors in Pre-K or at home. Possibly stranger, VLC couldn't pinpoint what the behaviors were. My husband and I took our son to doctors, therapists, and requested a screening from the public school which all resulted in normal behavior analysis. We told this to VLC in hopes they would change some things in their environment to help him work through. VLC took no action to help!!!!! Instead, VLC resorted to calling us out of work for early pickup constantly. They refused to take any ownership in their environment playing a part in his poor behavior. He has since moved and is thriving and has zero issues with other kids, makes you wonder what really goes on here.

I have two kids going here and it seems like suddenly they have picked up bad behaviors. All they have to do is scream and cry for attention.. I’m not sure if they have picked it up from other kids or bad discipline from the staff… Either way since I started bringing my kids here they’ve been acting like spoiled brats.

My daughter has been coming here for 2 years. They have helped with potty training. They are also very good with her allergies (she has alot). The staff here are always so kind and helpful even if she's having a bad day. The facility is always very clean. Bottom line I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My Children have both attended Valley Learning Center since one was 4 and the other was 1 month and have had nothing but the best experience here. They love their teachers and have really built a special bond with the staff.

If I could give a lower rating I would. My granddaughter went to this school. The director was arrogant and rude.My granddaughter had issues transitioning from the 2 year old class to the 3 year old class, so what do they do. They took her to the front area and let that poor child scream in terror all while the child was trying to leave the building to find her mother. They called me to go pick her up but I was out of town, they said they couldn't get a hold of her mother on her cell phone and i told them to call her at work because she wasn't allowed to carry her cell phone with her while she was working they never did. They then threatened my daughter with cps because they couldn't get a hold of her on her cell phone, again why didn't they call her work. My daughter's husband chewed them out for not handling things the right way so they kicked my granddaughter out of their school. My daughter ended up losing her job over this and all because they refused to call my daughter's work number. They also refused to help my daughter potty train my granddaughter so every time my granddaughter made progress the school would ruin it by putting her back in a diaper.I wouldn't trust this place if it was the last daycare in the area.

My kids love it here, definitely worth the money they have been going here their entire lives , loved all the staff until NOW the new director is rude , loud and very judgemental, I don't care how many kids you have trying to tell parents how to raise their children is very unprofessional. Talking about kids that are enrolled there in front of other parents is uncalled for . It is sad and I hope something can be done .
