My doctor sent a prescription over to this pharmacy in chino hills and the first day we went in, the young lady said it wasn't ready yet, she said come back later or tomorrow. We went back the next day and the tall dark male working at the pharmacy said we have to go lunch and started rolling down the window gates. Then he said to me, are you here to just pick up? We said yes, a prescription was sent two days ago and should be ready. He asked my name and looked in the computer then said, oh, the medication you want is over the counter . Then locked up his windows . We found the medication but it was much more expensive. My doctor sent that prescription for a reason , so my insurance would cover it but he did not want to fill it, I'll never go back to Walgreens in chino valley after being an avid customer for years. You lost my business!!!

This is my second experience with Walgreens. It's amazing that a pharmacy will pick up the phone "please hold", and NEVER return to the phone call. I have been on hold for over 25 minutes. I ended up having to drive 30 minutes each way only to be turned away as they didn't fill the prescription. All which could have been handled by phone. Moving my prescriptions somewhere else. This place should not be in business!

Very long wait lots of customers (12+) in line at pharmacy but only 1 person serving customers. We went in for COVID booster and we had an appointment but we waited 45 minutes. The person that took care of us was very polite and professional. This Walgreens location needs more staffing in the pharmacy department.

I have been on put on hold every time I call this place, and i am stuck on hold for at least 30 minutes if not longer. Over the course of the last year or so of using this Walgreens the quality of service has been rapidly declining. I waited for two weeks for them to fill a prescription for my baby, had to argue with them in order to get important and very much needed medication filled on time, and like I stated above I've been put on hold for over half an hour every time I've tried to get ahold of them. During two of those on hold wait times, I waited for 45 minutes only to have the phone hung up by them. Absolutely ridiculous. I also called them trying to refill an incredibly important medication, and I am still waiting for it to be filled two weeks later. Such garbage.

Absolute trash store now. It used to be so good but EVERYBODY quit and I can see why. Ignorant, RUDE staff/management that can't literally run the cash register. They blame EVERYTHING on the prior managers/employees, the ones that actually kept the store clean and new what they were doing. Product just sitting in crates and nobody knows ANYTHING about ANYTHING. Sale item, no idea. Location of item, no idea. Return, no idea how. Forget the pharmacy as it's either closed or totally clueless, just go down the street to a REAL pharmacy, chino valley pharmacy.I can't recommend ANYTHING about this store even if you're a HUGE walgreens fan. Just, no.. Pay more, travel farther. Get it at a gas station anywhere but here.

This place is a disorganized dump. I had covid appointment booked for the kids for travel purposes today. I show up & the pharmacy is closed and taking no appointments. They apparently didn't think it was important to let me know the appointment was cancelled. What a piece of shit.

Very disappointed with the service I received from the Pharmacy. I initially went to pick up my prescription through the drive thru and was told the debit card machine was broken (not their fault I understand) Came back later with cash and went in the store. Waiting in line behind another customer that was being helped at the counter, the person at the pharmacy counter then says "we're closed, we can help you in 20 minutes". I then wait the 20 minutes and go back through the drive thru...and I am told the cost of my RX (which was high) I asked if it was ran on my insurance. This time I'm told that my insurance card doesn't work. (I just used it at this pharmacy 3 days ago without issue) She runs it again and says it went through and this time says the cost is higher than the first quote. I ask about the discrepancy and she says I don't know maybe go to Walmart and have it filled. I am just flabbergasted.

WOW! Worst pharmacy Ive ever been too. Cashiers up front are very nice. Manager is over worked but does a great job. The pharmacy staff must have come from some place where rudeness, impatience, yelling and being down right incompetent is acceptable. 5 times in the last 6 weeks they have been quit impertinent and would rather argue with you than fix the problem that is on their end. Needless to say I will be going to Chino Valley Pharmacy.

There is something seriously wrong with the pharmacy. Every time I try to pick up a "ready" prescription, something goes wrong; e.g., pricing, wrong Px number, ready but not ready. I could go on and on. Use the mobile app and prepay for a prescription? Fine, but the cashier can't see your payment on their cash register system. Give them your phone so they can scan a QR code or tell them the numeric payment code...then the cashier looks at you like a deer in the headlights. Always problems. And did I mention a run-of-the-mill prescription can be delayed for days? Call them about it and suddenly it can immediately be filled. There also seems to be problems with them communicating with providers and insurance companies.

NEVER! We have never had a bad experience with any of the employees at this location! Never! As soon as you walk into this location you are greeted with a "Hello" and a smile and it is geniune! The girls at the pharmacy are super friendly, everytime my daughter and I go to pick up medicine for my parents they are very nice and helpful. The ladies up at the front and stocking the shelves are always helpful, courteous and geniunely nice! It is always a pleasure to go here! EVEN DURING THE PANDEMIC IT WAS A PLEASURE!!!

This is a few months late, but a 40-something lady in the photo dept was extremely helpful & patient. Saved me $20. It was my first time with a old photo disc & I never would've known the difference. Very important pictures and she was huge help. The store always neat & clean, I dont shop there often, as they are pricey (a corporate decision, not their fault) sometimes good deals on makeup though. All employees friendly, geeky mgr type not so much.

Wish I could give it more than five stars my husband forgot his medication in California and I called them and asked them if they could help me fill an emergency RX which they did they everyone is so helpful professional diligent friendly an awesome I will definitely come back again and the store is magnificent and clean yes I will come back
