I have been here several times and the food, ambiance and staff do not disappoint. A bit pricy, however, that is not unexpected nor exorbitant for food of this caliber.

Worth the 20 minute drive from sedona! The service was excellent including guidance on the expansive by the glass or bottle wine list. Reserve a window seat to enjoy the bird feeders and creek below. The elk entree and beet salad were five stars. Kudos to the chef who expertly sauces! The residents of Cornville are fortunate to have this casual and friendly restaurant.

We found this place from a recommendation on Airbnb, and we are glad we did! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was quaint. People were dressed in various degrees. Some were dressed business casual and some were in jeans and t shirts. Our server was Clark, and he was very busy but still attentive. We overheard him listening to a complaint from the table behind us, and he handled it well. The person complaining was a bit over the top, and the complaint had nothing to do with the food or service. The manager also did a great job with this person from what we overheard. My husband had the Elk and I had the lamb, both were delicious. We also had the baked Brie appetizer, and I had the buttermilk pie our table was next to the window and we had a view of the creek as well as hummingbirds using their many bird feeders.

Restaurant overlooks the Page Springs Creek with a wonderful view. Had the rack of Elk with grilled vegetables which was cooked to perfection. Our server Clark was on top of everything making our experience flawless. The baked brie was a great starter to the night. Will definitely make this a regular when in town.

This is a Very comfortable cozy restaurant. They make you feel like they've known you forever. I ate at the bar and had the half rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato and a side salad with balsamic. There were also seasonal vegetables. Everything was delicious. The sauce on the ribs was tangy and sweet. I like a lot of heat but this was nice for a change. It was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The meat fell off the bone. It was a little messy but what do you expect if you order ribs? They have napkins and a sink in the restroom. ? I enjoyed the company of everyone at the bar. And the service was good.Additional comment: I would have liked to see a selection of locally brewed beers on draft. (I resorted to Michelob ultra.) A better local beer selection would move Up The Creek up a notch. ??

Delicious Sedona burger that tasted so fresh and delicious, friendly staff, nice view of nature(bees, finches, ducks and hummingbirds) if you get a seat at the window, make reservations if possible. No red wine flights available today.

Beautiful romantic rare find with a view. Service was excellent, food was creative and tasty and the atmosphere was cozy, comfortable and in a gorgeous setting overlooking the creek. Highly recommend driving out of your way to make this a dining destination.

Great little restaurant/bar with a phenomenal creek view and during season a litany of hummingbirds. The food is great, burgers spot on, entrees delightful, and an elk carpaccio that our daughter daydreams about. Great wine selection, with takeaway.

This place is very nice. It is caterer and a takeout window. It has seating in the summer but is open year round. Fantastic breakfast and lunch sandwiches and divine pastries. I have a specific diet but I usually find something vegetarian. The meat eaters selection look amazing. I am always excited if I can make it downtown to this spot in my bust schedule. Just go!

Don't judge this book by its cover. Outside looks a bit plain but inside is a cool rustic stone building with a different rooms, levels and bars. Great food and an extensive wine list with many local AZ wine offerings. As a part of 10 we celebrated a family member's birthday, we had what was essentially a private room. Staff was attentive and service was top notch. It's an open until we close sort of place so if looking to dine a little later in the evening I'd suggest calling first.Dietary restrictions: Knowledgeable and accommodating staff

From the outside this appears to be just another roadside dive bar, but this little place is a gem. The menu is very impressive. The wine list scales large, and the beer selection is pretty good too. The outside views from the tables in the back are beautiful. The food is delicious and imaginative. The staff is friendly and the place has quite the rustic charm.

Okay, my review is dated! We found this gem back in the mid-'90s. You would walk in and it looked like an old country dive bar, not much bigger than a kitchen, until you saw the back part and the expanse of windows overlooking the creek. They had an awesome steak! They used to have an old rustic vibe back in the day. Rustic, but pleasant. You'd feel comy walking in wearing jeans and a T. Now, I dunno. I hope they haven't changed too mcuh and went too "new age"
