Used to frequent this store but havnt for awhile. It is very strange in there, reminded me of some post-apocalyptic movie while trying to find assistance. A staff member stated that they had never seen a very common health supply. Once a checkout machine locked up a competent staff member surfaced and helped me find the exact item i needed, went tight to it. but very odd experience.

Helpful associates. They mostly have self checkout here so help is often needed.

I to my Discover credit card in March 2024 for a COVID-19 test I took way back on 09/14/2023. I was unaware I owed money to CVS. Discover card flagged the charge as suspicious. I thought my credit card was being charged fraudulently so I declined the charge. I had to cancel the previous credit card and be issued a whole new number and card. This was a tremendous disruption.
Then I get email demanding payment for money I did not know I owed. No CVS logo and Athena healthcare logo at the bottom. I was not very familiar with this company. There was a huge PAY button in the middle on the email. I thought it was a phishing scam from the people who tried to use my credit card so I blocked and deleted it. Then get a written bill in mail last week saying I owed money that I thought I had payed when the test was done. I was not aware I gave permission for CVS to randomly charge my credit card for a test I took nearly 7 months ago. I didn't receive a bill at all before the charge. I looked on the CVS app to see where the charge would be listed and could not find it. Now I have to call Discover card and tell them the situation. They may cancel my account for saying a change CVS says is valid was fraudulent.
The bill gave the Cottonwood AZ CVS phone number but when I went there the Pharmacist and Pharmacy technician couldn't access the file. They were very dismissive of my problem and seemed frustrated they had to deal with me. Like I was an inconvenience to them. They said call "SHOP CVS". I call and I find it difficult to talk to a human being. The computer message said report all problems on the CVS app or CVS.com- the same app I looked at after I received the paper bill and came up empty.
Charged for a COVID-19 test months after the fact. No bill was sent. Billed by another company. No one at the store can tell me anything. Told to call SHOP CVS. Given the run around there as well. I am livid! I have been a loyal customer for more years than I can remember. I never been treated like this by any company I have done business with. This behavior in unacceptable. I demand a response. I hate this CVS.

They change my prescriptions from what my doctor ordered, sometimes giving me only one refill when my doctor tells me she ordered several. At other times they change the number of pills prescribed. Once they cut mine down to 1/3 of what my doctor ordered. They miss drug interactions and/or don't bother to tell you there are ineractions. They try to change out of pocket for prescriptions covered by insurance. There is almost always a a long line. If the prescription is too much trouble, they will make you step aside or stand in another line so they can work on easier orders first. If you complain about being made to stand in line several times, they send the manager to "suggest" you take your prescriptions elsewhere. If you call first to make sure your prescription is ready, they tell you to come in, but don't tell you that they'll be closed when you get there. They claim your doctor did not call in your script when you know she did. They don't call when your prescription is ready. They used to be good until a couple of years ago, but not anymore. Almost everyone is new, and they act like it. Even their automated service is much worse than it was a couple of years back. I used to love them, not any more. Who knows what happened; new mismanagement, maybe?

I made an appointment online to get Vaccines. When I showed up for the appointment I was told they were on hold because CVS did not take my insurance(I provided that info when setting up the appointment.) They sent me a confirmation text and email but could not bothered to inform me about the hold until I had showed up for the appointment. CVS just lost a customer.

WAY better than the Walgreens here in town (although that's not saying much). Everyone at the pharmacy is super, theyre quick, awesome hours, and the store itself has a little of everything with great deals.

You're on your own at this store. If you're lucky there might be one unlucky employee in the store outside the pharmacy. If you have a problem with self checkout or a product question you're on your own. I feel for the employees.
