During a vacation to Sedona, the first week of October visited this cottonwood facility. The staff was wonderful, efficient, and timely. Don’t think I could have asked for a better experience …very nice people.

I’ve been a patient at Davita Cottonwood for almost a year. After they diagnosed me with covid in January I had to transfer to a covid compliant facility. I chose to go to Evergreen in Phoenix for 2 weeks and then spent the next 6 weeks at a center in Tempe. I was so happy to return to Cottonwood. The nurses and techs there treat me like a person instead of a body. The schedule is always full, but they run right on time. They keep the mood light and cheerful. I actually look forward to my dialysis days.

I have been a patient at DaVita Cottonwood, AZ for almost a year and a half. 9i have been on dialysis for about 3 years now, and have been to numerous facilities in Tempe AZ, Laughlin NV, Bullhead City AZ, Kingman AZ, APagosa Springs CO,, lbuquerque NM, and Las Vegas NV when my wife and I have traveled. Of all these locations the DaVita clinic in Cottonwood, AZ has the best technicians and nursing staff by far. They place emphasis on treating each patient as a person valuable in their own right. They get to know their patients, what the individual patient requires and desires.I had some bad experiences at 2 different clinics where technicians infiltrated my veins causing massive swelling (in one case my arm swelled up to over 3 times it's normal size. The technicians at DaVita Cottonwood are all careful to ensure that doesn't happen. On the rare occasion when they have a problem they immediately call one of the senior technicians (Theresa and Fabian), who immediately come over and assist, showing the best way to access my veins.I wish I could give 10 stars, but I'm limited to 5 stars, so I'll include a well done and salute to DaVita Cottonwood, AZ.

The people at this facility are so wonderful I actually want to go to see them. They treat me so well I feel like family. They are always professional and explain any issues so you are always informed. If you are trying to decide where to go to get the best treatment this is the place!

This review has one star because I had to choose something or it would not post. This facility is so unprofessional. I had made an appointment to treat here while I was vacationing in Sedona. I had made the reservation 6 weeks before traveling and was assured I had a spot reserved for me. Up until the day I left home to travel up there, I was assured I had a reservation. I was supposed to have been given my chair time before I left home, but of course the person who was supposed to inform me of my time was "unavailable". I stopped in at the Cottonwood facility on my way to Sedona to confirm my treatment time. I was greeted at the door by a Tech and when I gave her my information, I was told that they did not have me on their schedule. I informed her that I had made the reservation 6 weeks ago and had been told on numerous occasions that I did in fact have a reservation for treatment there. She looked at my wife and I, laughed in our face, and stated, "we can't accommodate you". I asked to speak to a Supervisor, and the RN on duty came out. I explained to him what was happening and he took my name and number and stated that he would have the scheduling person call me. As of this writing I have yet to hear from anyone at the Cottonwood facility. Their indifference and refusal to honor my treatment reservation resulted in my wife and I having to cut our vacation short and our having to forfeit monies for reservations that were non-refundable. We had to leave early so that I could return home for treatment. The DaVita travel service is a complete joke. They do nothing for you. Yet, even when you do everything on your own and are guaranteed a reservation at another facility, they will not commit to it until the last minute. And even then you have no guarantee that it will be honored. This is no way to treat your patients. Oh, and by the way DaVita, you have my number. I'm still waiting to hear from anyone from the Cottonwood facility. The silence is deafening!!!
