If you are visiting elderly loved ones, rent a car. I exposed my husband to Covid and 3 months later, he has not recovered. This is an update to my previous review. On October 7th, I was sitting right in front of a woman who coughed every 5 minutes during Groome's 2 hour trip from Phoenix airport to Sedona. She mentioned to someone that she had been sick. Three days later, I woke up with my body aching and with a sore throat. I took a Covid test and it was POSITIVE for COVID I am 74 year old. I passed this to my husband who is 78. He has been sick with Covid and the after-effect ever since until this writing on December 16th. that is 3 months. I guess he has Long-Covid. The infection aggravated his slow prostrate situation, bringing his blood tests for platelets way high. Since then he has had swelling in his throat and knee, which lead to an acute blood clot. He is now on blood thinners. He previously went to the gym 5 days a week. Now, he relies on me to dress and undress him. I feel guilty because I took Groome Transportation which is a public transportation system for the poor and middle class. I should have rented a car and driven to Sedona, rather than expose my husband. I did not think about the danger of public transportation. Groome should provide masks and make some kind of announcement that masks are totally voluntary, but they can prevent you from getting sick or passing sickness to others. It can be a friendly announcement that just says "If you are coughing, our passengers would feel more comfortable if you wore a mask. We provide them for free if you want one." Of course, this is not Groome's fault, but they could make some kind of announcement, just like they do for seat belts. And they could provide masks for free to anyone who forgot theirs and now wants one. Remember-- Covid is not "over" -- it is still out there.

A later shuttle to the airport would be Great !!! Starting my trip sitting in the airport isn't my idea of fun.2 tumbs up to the drivers.

Over 30 minutes late for a scheduled pickup at Phoenix airport. Just something to consider when planning, scheduled shuttles may not arrive at scheduled time. There are multiple google listings, hopefully this is the correct one.

"They share a shuttle to their final destination for a fraction of the cost of traveling alone." This is not true. I can drive from Flagstaff to California with that money. This shuttle service has increased their prices. I recommend using Ride Share if you want to travel from Flag to PHX for a low cost;)

Michael, my driver last night from the airport to Sedona made the entire experience ( after 16 hour travel day) the most lovely and enjoyable of more than 35 years of heavy travel. He is an Angel!!Groome should treasure him! I will be definitely riding with Michael again.

I am only reviewing my particular driver. Groome on the whole is 5 star.We were on the midnight shuttle on the evening of Oct 23, the morning of the 24th, to Cottonwood and Sedona from Sky Harbor.Driver was on time, but rude, ornery, and argumentative.I will not ride on a shuttle with him again. I love Groomes vehicles, service, and punctuality. This guy created stress and tension and made the ride miserable.

This is just my observation after dropping my wife off in Cottonwood to take a shuttle to Phoenix to go visit her ailing father this morning at 3:30 a.m. This is the second time that I've dropped her off --the first time the driver was waiting for her, greeted her warmly took her bag placed it in the van, and then my wife sat in the running van. This morning was quite a different story. We arrived at approximately 3:26 in the morning, and the female driver was standing outside. She said you must be Suzanne and then remarked "boy that's a big bag." My wife was visibly embarrassed when she said this and she defensively said "well I am going for a week" to which the driver replied "are you sure you're not going for a month"? The size of my wife's bag is none of the drivers business and to be so openly and unabashedly rude and not have the self-awareness to know you're out of line is beyond explanation--doesn't Groom train their drivers in common courtesy? I was going to send a letter to the general manager, but my wife insisted that a review would be sufficient so she is going to review her entire trip with this person at the helm and I'm just gonna review what I overhead her say to my wife. Additionally, I heard she left my wife waiting outside in the cold as she sat inside the office. Whoever hired this person needs to be evaluated.

I took the shuttle from Sedona to PHX. The Groome staff were helpful on the phone when I called to book. The shuttle arrived about 10 minutes early for pickup. The driver drove safely and we arrived a little early. It was nice to sit back, headphones on, and enjoy the scenery.

Friendly service on time, picked me up at my house. The only downside is getting to the airport several hours before I needed to be there.

I had a trip booked with groome for a couple weeks. Two days before my trip they call me and tell me the driver canceled and the only option I have is to stay in the Phoenix airport over night. Not only did they tell me this, but they told me the wrong time. I eventually was able to hop on a bus that was going to camp verde then get on another one to Flagstaff. Once we got to camp verde we found out the other bus broke down. Since the driver couldn’t make the other customers wait, he decided to leave me in Camp verde at 2:00am. I understand stuff happens, but leaving a 20 year old girl at a Dennys in the middle of no where in the middle of the night is completely unacceptable. I will not be using this service again.
