+JMJ Friday 28 July 2024. Arrived around 7 am. Only one person ahead of me. Didn't wait any longer than 20 minutes. Technician efficiency carried out duty of withdrawing my blood. Then I was on my way. I can't adequately express my distain for medical procedures of any kind but must honestly state that the staff: receptionist and phlebotomist are professional and friendly enough in carrying out their duties.

I don’t understand why this group of people are so rude. The girl with long dark hair is the worst. She is snappy, condescending, and rude. I called with a question and she hung up on me. I don’t understand the need to treat people in such a manner.

My wife and I have been using this location for all of our bloodwork for over two years now. They are always prompt, professional and efficient in the task. We have found each of the phlebotomists to be skilled and caring in performing the blood draws - my wife has small veins so this is real important. We also like that you can sign in and then wait outside if you like and not in the waiting room. They have a tv screen which also shows your status in the queue, but have always found them to be on time. Sorry to see some of the complaints about the front desk staff, but I had no issues albeit she didn't extend a warm and friendly greeting which would have been a plus.

I prefer Sonora Quest over all others. Professional, friendly and personable . I’ve used the Cottonwood facility numerous times over the years and have found their service and attitude to be consistent. The best,

I was actually yelled at in front of a group of people in the waiting room by a woman with short hair. I was skipped in line twice and then asked personal questions in front of a large group of people in the waiting room. I have an actual disability I am completely deaf and have a hearing aid and when I was attempting to get privacy to answer this woman’s questions she continued to talk over me loudly in front of the entire group of strangers and was clearly annoyed didn’t even take notice that I actually am deaf and cannot hear people in a large room . When I asked for privacy the woman aggressively asked for my insurance information loudly raised her voice at me and again asked who sent the order. For whoever reads this review I want it to be understood that I am actually deaf and have a disability this woman treated me so badly she actually even slammed the door in my face the entire guests in the waiting room noticed people were noticely uncomfortable and it was the strangest experience. I have never been treated that badly she probably still doesn’t even register that I have an actual hearing disability and that someone who needs a request for privacy should have that honored not treated like something is wrong with them or they are an inconvenience

This is an excellent and very professional lab! I tried this lab once, and another one which I won't mention name. I got a copy of my lab report from Sonora Lab by signing a consent form which is the way it should be. After all, the patient is entitled to their own blood results. It was like pulling teeth to get them at other lab. I was willing to sign Anything too. I don't like to get anxious trying to stick up for my rights. A person can't always Sit by a phone waiting for results. I will definitely go back to SonoraLab in future!!!!

My husband's doctor ordered lab work from Sonora Quest in Cottonwood, AZ. My husband walked into the office and told the receptionist that his doctor had requested blood work The young lady at the front desk told him he had to sign in and pointed at the kiosk. No problem. He typed in his name and nothing came up. He went back to the front desk to ask her if she could look his name up and SHE WOULD NOT LOOK AT HIM OR RESPOND.It's hard enough having medical issues without people acting like that. My husband is a kind man and did not demand help, but asked for it nicely.

75% of the time I go there, they cannot find my Dr.'s request for all the lab tests. So then I have to return (50 mile round trip), have them draw blood a second time, paying the copay twice. Sometimes I have to call the doctor' office and request they send the request AGAIN. This is the closest lab to me since COVID19 appeared, as many have closed, and it's 25 miles from home. There's nothing pleasant about these visits due to the distance and paper-trail confusion. They got three stars because they are polite to people and skilled at drawing blood.

I’ve had bad experiences with getting blood work done because of my lack of obvious veins. Went here and the nurse found one immediately and I felt nothing. They know what they’re doing!

I would never use this lab again. I had an appointment for a blood draw but they also allow walk-ins so the waiting room was standing room only. Despite the mask requirement posted on the front door, about half of those in the waiting room were not wearing masks and staff was doing nothing to enforce the requirement. Medical establishments should be the safest places we go, not the riskiest. Sonora Quest should clean up its act at this location.

Sharing that I had made a fasting lab appointment with McKella (aka Katlyn?). When I arrived the place was packed. I checked in and the receptionist Naomi and she said there was no appointment in the system. I asked for a supervisor or lead and was told there was no one. She said I could join the walk in group, whereas there were about six or more ahead of me, indicating an hour plus wait. It was a small office and not able to socially distance I was shaking from fasting (am diabetic) so decided not to wait an hour+.Additionally Naomi allowed a woman to cut in line at the window so she could drop off some covid saliva samples. Not something that I wanted to be near and was told previously by Sonora Quest they do not take covid samples. Had had good services before but they have gone down hill big time.

I went in yesterday 12/14/2020 at about 10:45 am needing only one test done. The dark haired girl at the front desk was extremely rude, short and condescending. To everyone, not even just myself. She literally laughed at a patient, rolling her eyes because they didn’t understand her question. While sitting in the waiting room, the other people waiting were making big eyes at each other with every rude or snappy remark that left her mouth. The rest of the staff that I saw was very kind however. Rachel took my blood and was quick and efficient and extremely nice!

I just moved here and this was my first experience with this lab and with using the Quest Direct online program which allows you to get lab work without a doctor's order. I ordered online and prepaid for 3 simple blood tests I need to monitor a medication. (So far it has been impossible for me to see a new MD for a wellness check due to COVID19.) I tried to use the Quest Direct online scheduling program for this location. It showed no available appointments for all of December. So I called the lab directly and was given an appointment the next week. When I arrived at the lab it was a Monday afternoon and the scene was complete chaos. People in a TINY waiting room, people milling around outside, NO social distanced chairs, no air flow and no attempt being made to disinfect anything: seats, check-in computer screen, pens... you name it. I'm not a germ freak but when the guy waiting behind me at the front desk, breathing down my neck... steps up to the window after me and says in a loud voice "I'm here for my COVID test"...YIKES! It gets worse. My order number could not be found in their computer system. I was asked to fill out paperwork and pick from their long list of tests the ones I had ordered online. It was interesting that the prices on the sheet were almost 30% less than what I paid online. And the tests I ordered online did not match up to those on the list. Frustrating! I was told by the harried front desk worker that they would "catch up" the billing afterwards and I would be billed if there was a discrepancy. WHAT? If I hadn't driven 45 minutes to get to this lab, I would have walked out. But guess what, you can't get your money back once you order these tests through Quest Direct. So I sucked it up, sat through a 30 minute wait past my appointment time, and got my blood drawn. I will say the young lady phlebotomist was quick, pleasant and the blood draw was painless. Poor girl told me she rarely gets a lunch break as this office is so busy. The gal at the front desk was also very nice, just completely overwhelmed by the situation. It's been 3 days and no test results yet. I give zero stars to Quest Direct!
