Great place to "spend the" if you're going to Cottonwood for the day and don't want to drive back the same day! We came for hubby's bday and to rent ebikes from Verde Valley Bicycles down the road. (highly recommend them, too) Be sure to make a reservation if you go on a weekend since the lady up front said they always fill up. She had great recommendations on places to eat too. Small room, but recently updated and had all we needed! The only thing I wish I would've brought was cotton sheets. The polyester sheets aren't very comfortable to sleep in, but I'm fussy about my sheets. BYO if you are too. We will definitely stay here again, thank you!

We stayed here last night for probably the fifth time. The check in was smooth and efficient and the front desk lady told us we had the best room. It was a nice room until we went to sleep. The heater made a clicking noise all night and was very loud when it would turn on throughout the night. Check out was at 11 and at 11:05 we had our door open and were trying to leave when a manager or front desk lady came and asked us if we were leaving. It was very apparent we were on our way out. She was very rude and asked us for the key and stood outside the door like a prison warden while we left. I said thank you and goodbye and she offered a terse bye. This was horrible customer service and I get we were five late to leave but come on. I will think twice before I book there again between the heater and the rude manager.

We have stayed at the Iron Horse a number of times and this time did not disappoint! Denise in the office was able to get us a VERY last minute room reservation for two nights. We usually get a king, but the only availability was a queen. The room is spotless and comfortable (the bed and pillows are AMAZING) A bit small, but it had everything we needed. Mini fridge, hair dryer, plenty of towels, and extra warm blanket. Close to everything in Old Town and always a 5 star choice!

The rooms are extremely small ! There is hardly any place to walk. There are no drawers , the sink is a tiny corner and bathroom has barn door that doesnt even close properly ! There is no designated parking- its first come first serve. For about 250 dollars a night that place is ridiculous ! There are four hangers, no coffee maker or ironing board in room ! But then where will you keep it ? Not worth the money ! Disappointed :(

A horrible experience. Made a reservation and received a confirmation number. When the date got closer, I called to confirm it and they informed me that I didn’t have a reservation. What I learned was that a company called after I made my reservation and booked the entire hotel for an event. As such, they informed me that I would have to find another hotel to stay in. What horrible customer service. I will NEVER stay in that hotel. Shameful.

Old historic place. Is kept up and remodeled very nicely. It was very clean, and the host was super nice. No breakfast, but they're coffe is good. Single bed, room was very small, but we had places to hang and put belongings. The price is right. Especially if you're trying to save money instead of going to Sedona.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Right down town in main shopping area.Reason, if I knew how, to make 3 1/2 stars l would have. Reason is they are small and have no real dressers. They have some shelves. I would stay again. Staff great.

Located in Historic Cottonwood, this inn is absolutely adorable. The few flaws that we found in the room give it charm. The courtyard is adorable, and if it hadn't been so hot, I'd have spent more time there. It's within walking distance of a ton of cute local artists shops and antique shops, and only a 15 minute drive from Jerome. Parking was a bit of a pain to fond, but easy to get into once you knew where to go. I highly recommend this place.

Our go-to spot a couple of times a year. Great decor and bedding is amazing. Noisy air conditioner but definitely works!

This is such a cute, quaint Inn. We were first given a downstairs room, but there was a lot of activity and smokers outside the room. There was no way we could even open the blinds as everyone would be able to see in. So we'd have to always be in the dark. Since we were going to be there five nights, we asked if there was an upstairs room available and there was. We were able to move to a much nicer, larger, brighter room, even though our view was of the parking lot. It was very private and quiet. The little vending room with ice, hot chocolate and Starbucks machine was a nice touch. What was very disappointing was that the cute courtyard that we were excited to enjoy sitting and drinking wine and coffee at was constantly occupied with one or more smokers. It seemed that there was one lady who was there all day every day we were there. So not only did we not get to enjoy that space, we had to hold our breath and walk through the nasty smoke every time we came and went. There were times we could even smell it up in our room. My personal opinion is to make the property completely smoke free as I'm certain there are more non smoking guests than smokers. Unfortunately, until it is we most likely won't return:(

I really liked this place and am glad we took a chance to book. Free parking out back that’s easy to find and navigate. Courtyard available to socialize during the day and into the evening. Newly renovated rooms look more like studio apartments than a hotel room. The stairs were a bit uneven and if you’re tall, you really have to duck. It was just a tad noisy when we were getting ready for bed but by 10pm when quiet hours go into effect we couldn’t hear anyone anymore. The shower head was tall as well which was great for me.Room size was great and they provided two bottles of water which was nice. We did notice something wrong with the floor but it wasn’t too bothersome. There is no breakfast provided but there is a nearby restaurant which you get 20% off.The location is really great with neighboring shops, restaurants, and walking trails to the river.
