My elderly dog has had Valley Fever since he was 5 years old. Verde Valley Vet Clinic called in a prescription for fluconazole to a local pharmacy last week. The pharmacy said they never got the prescription. Because that was not the first time with that particular pharmacy that this happened, I called this morning and asked that they call the prescription to a different pharmacy. Verde Valley agreed to speak with the doctor. Apparently, Dr. Rusch REFUSED to refill without seeing the patient first. I went into the office and spoke with the office manager. I explained that because the pharmacy screwed up; I am now without medication (which can be life threatening to my dog). I asked that they refill the prescription first because I am out; and I said I would be glad to take my dog in for an exam. The man that runs the office did not even have the nerve to advocate for dog. He just told me that if the doctor refuses to fill, than that is all he can do. I told them they are FIRED. i DO NOT recommend this clinic. I am a medical professional, and I can tell you this clinic that would risk a dogs life and refuse to refill, when I told them I would bring the dog in, WRONG ANSWER! I would additionally like to warm prospective clients that the Verde Valley Vet Clinic gouges clients on diagnostic exams. Verde Valley quotes $400 for a Valley Fever test. This same test will run you $300 to $350 at Danza Del Sol, and $260 at Airpark Vet. Service. In other words, Verde Valley is making a lot of money off of the tests they recommend for your pet. I truly understand that Vets need to see patients prior to prescribing. What the difference is here is that the patient was well known to the clinic; and has been in more than a couple of times at Verde Valley, in the past year. Any Vet worth their salt would have refilled the medication so as not to cause adverse consequences to the animal; and I was totally amendable to bringing in the dog the next available appointment. The office manager should have made the next available appointment for the dog, and request that the doctor fill the medication so the dog did not have consequences.

Needed medical care for my senior lab since new to the area and took a chance based on the reviews. You will not be disappointed. Very patient caring, gentle, knowledgeable doctors, assistants to reception staff that make you feel your in good hands. Medicine is working for my Charlie ❤️ Thank you.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. I really appreciate Dr. Yank, her kindness and honesty. However my concern is over trying to sell me a paw plan for upcoming dental work. The estimate is up to $878. So if I got the paw plan at $75 per month, and have to commit to a full year of payments, that is already 900. Then I would also have to pay up to $196. Bringing the total to just under $1100, $300 over the estimated cost of dental surgery. Just brings lots of questions to my mind.

Fast and patient! They are great with my big, tall, Terrier mix, Lucy. She get so excited and anxious, in the Office, they let us wait outside. Once she was examined and got her Rabies booster, it was time to switch dogs at home and bring in my shy new dog, Remus. He's 4 years old and I rehomed him a month ago. He's a long haired miniature Shepherd, 25 pounds. TheVet Tech tucked Remus under her arm and away he went for his Heartworm test and follow up shots. What I love about their Staff; they never act like I'm doing something wrong, when my Anxious 1 1/2 year old, overgrown puppy, puts her paws up I on the counter, to say hi, when we arrive. They bribed her with liquid cheese, for Lucy's sudden panic, over being examined. She wasn't forced UP on a table, but could huddle near mom. I love my hyper puppy SO much and knowing she's healthy is huge. Worry can eat at a pet owner, because dogs are so stoic when sick. Thanks to the Staff, even during a sudden rainstorm.

We are part time residents and while here our pup became ill after travel. Verde Veterinary got us in quickly and Dr. Bush was thorough in examining her. 100% satisfied and happy with the care. Izzy is back to normal!

Dr Yang is so very compassionate and smart every time I have brought my Bentley into the clinic for a problem she always pinpointed the problem almost immediately with out putting my cat through expensive tests that I couldn't afford she always worked with me knowing that I am on a tight budget living on SS and treated me fairly plus the rest of the staff were all so very kind and caring.

Winston has a horrible rash. They got me right in, explained all the options, included his vaccines, prescribed some medication. I was as impressed as always. What a great clinic.

My experience was awesome! It's always abit unnerving for Chewy n I going to the vet. The vet n her assistant made our visit less stressful and Chewy actually relaxed under their gentle TLC care. The vet addressed Chewy's problem n set my mind at ease with her thoughts n suggestions. The office staff were both friendly and efficient. Thank you all for making our visit more comfortable! ??

Short wait and everyone there was very polite and positive. Even tho my little yorkie hates to go to the Vet, I enjoyed meeting staff members and her Dr was very thorough in explaining everything to us.
