Painted Rock Petroglyph Site and Campground, located about 90 miles southwest of Phoenix, Arizona, is a unique destination for nature and history lovers. I spent a night camping there during my motorcycle trip; it’s a great, quiet spot. Highly recommended.

My brothers and I visited and had a great time looking at all the painted rocks and walking around the area. It was relatively hot (went in the summer) but the awnings provided much needed shade. The restrooms were clean and overall It was enjoyable.

In the middle dale of nowhere but interesting stop. Well constructed exhibit with good displays of information.
