I've tried to like Mortimer Farms for many years, but this place is just lame. The saddest part is how much potential it has to be great. I've gone to all of their Holiday festivals, and they are just "Meh". Certainly not worth the crazy amount they charge everyone to get in, but they take advantage of the fact that they are the only place around here that attempts these festivals. I wanted to take my son to a "farm" this last week. I'm aware that it's their "off season" and there aren't any festivals going on right now... but they will still charge you $12 per person just to enter the "farm"!! No locals discount during their off season, nothing included in the ticket price. Then you walk out the doors of their gift shop and it looks like it's been closed for years. Garbage everywhere, tables and chairs knocked over, not an employee in sight. No shade, no water offered (not even for sale), nothing open! What am I paying $12 per person for?? To stand in mud and pay you more money to feed your chickens and goats? I hardly call this place a farm. Last year, my family came to the farm on Easter and the person who was manning the pony rides was smoking a cigarette right there! With kids within a few feet of him. This place really is such a joke. And all of the pictures you see of their "farm to table" food on social media... Google images! It's not even their products. The food they serve is mediocre at best. Greedy, greedy, greedy. The produce in their "market"... from other places! And no price tags. Just one big money grab. I will never return and I hope others realize what a joke this place is.

So happy that I didn’t waste my money for admission!! The farm looked run down and the prices in the deli were expensive and some things had no price.

a great place for the entire family to have fun. strawberry picking in the patch and rustic rides and slides make it tons of fun for kids and grown-ups. Summer, winter, fall, spring....always something going on here and the market/store is almost always open it seems.

I went to the market to buy local grocery items. I bought fresh milk, heavy cream, meat, veggies and raw honey. Im pleased with the quality of the items. The milk is amazing and the honey is top notch. The raw milk was 5.50 for a half a gallon in a glass bottle. If you buy raw milk you know what a steal that is. I will be back

I have been going to this farm with my family since I was a little girl. My favorite memory would have to be looking for the biggest pumpkin I can find. Every year I search the fields for a giant pumpkin and I am never left disappointed. We used to only visit the farm in the Fall but now we go as often as we can to shop at the store and visit the animals. The bakery is incredible and I buy the most delicious honey. Update: the farm now charges $12 a person just to see the animals, even if you’re spending money in the store. It used to be free but now the family farm is just looking to make a buck. Disappointing

We have visited a few times for their festivities for Halloween and it’s been ok. However, the “Christmas” version was absolutely boring. We went on a Saturday around 11:30am. There really wasn’t anyone working there and there was NOTHING of what the advertising said there would be. We basically had to wonder around and try and play with a few of the VERY worn out things they have for the kids. (The worst is the peddle bikes, literally none of them work, or have peddles or seats or anything) why bother?? Our son was getting bored so we were about to leave and heard a little magic show starting. The guy wasn’t bad for the little ones.. once that was over there really wasn’t anything to do so we left.. the place really needs to be maintained better and they really should offer what their website says they will have. It honestly was a waste of our $48. there was no magic, no shows minus a random magic guy, no entertainment.. not even sure what the “and more” meant?(Website description below)-false advertising for sure!Rediscover the magic of Christmas this winter as the Farm transforms into an enchanting holiday wonderland with festive decorations, shows, entertainment, and more. Savor the splendor of the season and discover the place where Christmas cheer lives all season long.We won’t be back, each year it gets more run down and you can tell the money isn’t being used to improve anything. Honestly wish we could get our money back at this point.

Mortimer Farms is easily our favorite place to visit- no matter the weather. There’s always yummy treats, animals to love on, and adventure to be had. We have an annual pass and come up at least once a month.

We visited mortimer farms for the first time, newbies here just moved to prescott valley and loved being able to have a fun place to take our son and get drinks and food while he enjoys all the fun activities, would love to do the Christmas event, but kinda out of our budget right now. Can't wait to visit again and let my little one enjoy himself.
