We loved our tasting experience at Sonoita Vineyards. We’ve been able to visit 10 wineries in the area so far, and Sonoita Vineyards has the best wines! Their grounds are beautiful. Love being able to go into the barrel room! Very cool. All around great experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

My wife and I visited yesterday and had a great time. We tried 5 different wines and thought all were above average, no losers whatsoever! This is a refreshing reversal from our recent trip to the Finger Lakes wine region in New York where we found the wines to be seriously sub-par. Service was enthusiastic and above average. Enjoyed the outside space where we could sit in the winter sun and enjoy. One suggestion: please fix the women’s restroom door. Thanks for a great time.

I love how we could walk into the production room (tanks/barrels). I dislike how cold the wine educator was who helped us. She did sort of give us a friendly hello, then seemed to be very dismissive of us after that. I learned 0 percent about any wine and the winery. No tasting sheets either. I feel like the experience was severely overpriced and not worth it. You should leave a winery feeling good and empowered (at least with a couple facts about the place or its wine). This definitely wasn't it. Not even close. One of the worst experiences in about 200 tastings I've done, Az and elsewhere. But lovely place otherwise! Would not recommend unless you want 0 interaction and to be among the barrels.

Went down for the AVA New Releases event today and my family and I had a wonderful time! Was great to see the barrel room back open and taste some new wines! We will definitely be back, Lori and her staff made everyone feel welcome and like family!!

Great outdoor sitting space. The wine is reasonably priced. I’d recommend you bringing own wine glass.

Find an excuse to make it out here because it is worth it! This was one of three stops on a wine tour and it was by far the best specifically because of Moni! She was kind, knowledgable, funny- literally the best part of our day. We talked about her for days after. Truly- she deserves all the kudos and praises. She is a shining star and this Vineyard is lucky to have her!

Stopped here during a wine tour of Arizona vineyards and this was by far my favorite stop thanks to Moni. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and so much fun!!! Thank you so much for making our time so memorable, you’re the best!

Even though they recently suffered a fire that seriously impacted their current operations, they hosted a fantastic Blessing of the Vines today.

We visited here for a wine tasting on our way back from Tombstone. We drive an RV and thought about boondocking through Harvest Hosts but we had some issues with our RV and needed hook up. It's too bad because the land is beautiful and would have been an amazing spot to wake up in. On the drive in we saw about 5 prong horned antelope in the field. There is also nice cattle to look at. The view of the mountains is wet pretty. We did a wine tasting. We brought our own glass and saved a few bucks. You can pick any 4 off their list. While the wine wasn't bad, I'm more accustomed to Napa wine but glad I could give it a try. There is lots of seating outside. They have picnic tables and a bags set to make it comfortable AND, they are dog friendly.
