Finding a trustworthy mechanic is really hard, especially in Flagstaff, but Ammco and Tony are a rare gem! I’ve dealt with my fair share of scammy auto shops and often walked away feeling taken advantage of, but not here.
Tony and his team are the real deal. Every time I’ve brought my vehicle to Ammco, they’ve gone above and beyond with their honesty, expertise, and care. Tony’s knowledge of cars is incredible, and you can tell he genuinely wants to help rather than just make a quick buck. He takes the time to explain exactly what’s going on and never tries to upsell unnecessary services.
This is the ONLY place I trust with my vehicle, not just in Flagstaff but in all of Arizona and New Mexico. Whether it’s routine maintenance or a bigger repair, I know I’m in good hands with Tony and his crew. If you’re tired of feeling uncertain or taken advantage of when it comes to auto repairs, stop searching and bring your car to Ammco. You’ll wish you’d found them sooner. Highly, highly recommend!

The shop straight up lost my whole driveshaft, transmission crossmember, a new Bell housing, and transmission core. After 3 months of no progress I had my vehicle shipped home.

Aamco took very good care of us with not just our KIA, but our Equinox which needed a new engine, amongst other things need a fixin. Tony and TJ are amazing mechanics and I recommend them for anything. Not only are they friendly, but they are honest. If you want to be treated right and get the best deal without being swindled, come to Aamco of Flagstaff!

I would not recommend, they left my vehicle unlocked overnight, we just happened to drive by and notice, plus they told me I need to go to Ford for a new motor and all it needed was a new battery

I paid for my transmission to be replaced. I paid the part upfront because they said they would get it fixed within a week. They never called me once on an update on my car. The following Monday I called and they told me I had to bring my car in because they needed my old transmission first. I advise them no one ever told me I had to bring my car for the replacement. I was just waiting for the part to be there first. That Monday I drove an hour to drop my car off thinking my car will be done Wednesday. Nope!!! They kept saying I needed others parts!! When I call a different guy answered saying I was being lied to by an employee they just fired. They kept telling me I had to wait on my car because they are waiting for the transmission. They told me my car would be done on a Friday and that Nissan was taking care of it and it be done that day. I called Nissan and Nissan told me my appointment for the car was Monday. Once I found that answer I paid for a rental 300 dollars for a few days. I’ve been without my car for 24 days until I got it back. They also told me they throw in an oil change for free and I never got that. Please do not take your car here. They were so quick to take my money. They didn’t even try to give me discount. I paid full price on everything. They were so quick to call me and tell me I had to hurry up and get my car. They don’t communicate well at all. They are nice to your face but they don’t communicate or up front about your vehicle situation.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tony at AAMCO in Flagstaff, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his exceptional service. My family and I were in a bind, needing a rental car when every other company seemed to be unavailable. Tony went above and beyond to help us, finding a solution quickly and efficiently. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Thanks to Tony, our trip was saved, and we were able to continue our journey stress-free. Super friendly staff. Tony and Tony are awesome! Headed home to VA when our transmission failed. Tony knew our situation still gave me a very fair price and had my van done by the end of day three.

I come from California and they treated me very well, they cared about my return, the prices are moderate but the service is good compared to 3 other places in the area!!I read the Reviews but KEVIN is no longer in business!!

I have taken my daughter's vehicle in. It's been a month & 1/2 just waiting for a report, but nothing yet. I was told I would get things done & no charges,well, unexpected ones. I'm still waiting for my call. ?
