Super easy and fast check-in, without having to take a shuttle anywhere for the desk or the lot. The front desk gentleman John was very helpful. Have always liked Alamo, and recommend this location.

We had a problem with a feature and even with several phone calls it could not be solved. We searched for a Alamo location in the near of our way and found the one at Flagstaff airport.Hi John, even if it is already months ago (it was 11th October if I remember correctly) we would like again to thank you very much.Never have seen so patient and full support. Expected to pay under $100 for the rental (online price). Was surprised it would be $115, then ended up paying over $130 for the rental after several add-on fees.

They were awesome! Without calling the lady at Alamo saw that our flight to flagstaff had been delayed by 2 hours, and on her own she stayed late and took care of several customers and did it all with a huge smile and a thank you!!!! Definitely a HOME RUN!!!! Thank you!!!

During our vacation in Arizona I booked a secondary rental car with Alamo from the Flagstaff airport (main car rental was also through Alamo, but reserved from the airport in Vegas where we flew in). We needed to commute to an early AM white water rafting trip in the Grand Canyon and picking up the rental car at the airport location was convenient to where we were staying. The secondary car was needed so family members not going on the rafting trip could stay behind, but still have transportation.When we realized we were going to be late to pick the car up for 9pm I called to notify someone. It appeared that I was speaking to someone at a call center vs the location of where I booked the rental. I was told to be at the rental desk by 11pm to pick up our reserved car by the male agent I spoke to on 6/18 (I provided my reservation number for him to review where the rental pick-up location was and he understood that we weren't flying into this airport, just picking up the car because the rental place was local to where we were staying during our vacation).We arrived to find the rental desk closed. I called customer service back to be connected with a woman with a strong Indian accent who was not understanding or willing to figure something out for me. She kept telling me to come back in the morning, but that was not possible as we needed to leave to meet for our rafting trip earlier than the desk would be open for. The woman laughed at me because I was upset and essentially explained that customer surveys offered after a call would not be taken seriously if I chose to rate her service unsatisfactory.I would like my money back for the measly one day car rental I never actually got and to make things right with our poor experience with Alamo.

Needed a rental car due to an emergency. Ubered out to the Flagstaff airport to be told by the Alamo clerk, "we have no cars". But, I have a reservation made online, here's my confirmation. Sorry, we have no cars; I can't help. And he didn't. He walked back into the office. I won't consider Alamo every again anywhere. If you make a reservation, call the pick-up location to ensure they do have a car for you.

We rented a 12 passenger van for vacation. Pick-up and drop-off were easy. The free shuttle from the airport to the location where all the car rental places are worked great!

Reserved a car several weeks in advance - noticed the airport website indicated that Alamo desk closed at 9:00pm. Called Alamo's main customer service line (it is very, very, very difficult to get through to a specific location using the automated phone tool which keeps you going in circles). Explained that our flight would not be arriving until after 9:00PM and asked if we would still be able to pick up our rental. The Alamo Agent assured me we would - said car is available 24/7 at airport locations. At 10:45PM, we found ourselves stranded in the small, dark FLAGSTAFF airport because the ALAMO counter (and all other rental car counters) were closed. No UBER or LYFT here - No Taxi's! Our hotel was 55 minutes away. A wonderful person from Flagstaff saw that my husband and I were in a panic and was so very kind to drive us to our hotel. We paid her (of course for her trouble). The next day we had to waste most of our day trying to find another rental in Sedona AZ - none to be found. Then we had to get a car service ($130) to drive us back to the airport to pick up the Alamo vehicle. Horrible experience. Cost us a lot more money out of pocket and we lost a vacation day. Contacted Alamo Customer Service (via email) when we returned home to ask for a reduced rental fee. NO response whatever. Do Not Use Alamo.

Did online booking for an emergency rental need. The reservation booked just fine. Around 4 hours later, when it was to late to call anyone else, I got a call saying they don't have any vehicles at all. This is going to cost me 100s of dollars because they don't bother putting something on the website saying to call for same day reservations.

Was charged an unjustified charge of $806 and was told I would get a full refund to only have their accounting dept. email me stating they are only giving me a half refund. I have been reaching out and “escalating” the situation 8 times since Jan. With no call backs or emails. Customer service seems nice but it’s only a call center can’t get any real answers they just say someone should call you back with in 2 days which doesn’t happen.

Booked a cheap economy car through Expedia, but was charged $500 more at pickup. Apparently, Alamo gave me a midsized car without telling me it was an upgrade, and was then charged for it.Expedia was great trying to find out what happened. But, I'm stuck with what Alamo charged me.
