“Absolutely AMAZING! The Assistance league helps students in Flagstaff tremendously by donating bags of clothing. I can't tell you how much these families appreciate the support!”
“I highly recommend Northland Hospice. When my mother needed end of life care they were so caring and compassionate. The director, nurses and all the staff were so professional and efficient.”
“This place is fantastic. The people that work here are amazing and all the things they do for those who need it are just truly amazing. So thankful for the people who take their time to better the youth and children in the area. Thank you for all that you do”
“I loved this little thrift shop! They do have lots of things for a good price, very nice atmosphere. They do offer a free snack one per customer! I would come again!”
“Awesome receptionist. She pretty much does everything which includes food pantry, rental assistance and utilities assistance when available.
Very helpful and kind receptionist.”
“I come here regularly. I've had so many positive interactions here along with some excellent values. The prices are very very fair. I think some other reviewers expect thrift store prices from the 1980's and are out of touch with new retail prices. If you need something, just ask the volunteers or employees. They've always been really friendly and super helpful. Rich in particular is a phenomenal resource. Thank you all!”
“Maya C., Grand Canyon Advocate, is the most amazing person!! Not only did she help get me back to California after being abandoned by a deeply troubled family member, she took me to the best sights at the Grand Canyon and made a nightmare into one of the best days of my life. Thank you so much, Maya, I'll never forget you! ❤”
“On going issue:This last Sunday my family and I traveled to Flagstaff and adopted puppies from HCH at an event in which they had several puppies available. This experience was wonderful and I was able to match up not only one but two dogs for our family. These puppies were incredibly perfect as they were exactly what my family needed after a loss of our furbabies last year. My husband was able to find his soul dog, which was an instant connection. My son made remarks about how he no longer needs a girlfriend because he now has a new puppy.”
“It's so hard for me to see the dogs, so in need of love. The good thing is that they seem well cared for. Still I wanted to take them all home. If you do go, you will need to make a left onto an unmarked dirt road. There are some signs that tell you that the shelter is open, but I wasn't sure until about a half mile later when I saw the building. They should have that road paved.”
