Had my daughter's third birthday here. Scheduled several weeks in advance, paid the deposit, and even called a few days before to let them know how many kids would be coming so they could have proper staffing (their rule). Day of party nobody was answering the phone so we showed up 30 minutes to party time needing to get food/drinks/cake set up. There was a coach and several girls practicing. Nobody knew about our party, the practice was scheduled to go clear through our party time. Bernie (the coach) was the only wonderful part of this story. He cancelled his girls' practice early, made them all call their parents for rides. My mom and I had to sweep the floor in the party area and set up all of the tables as our guests were arriving. Apparently the owner had forgotten about the party and nobody was scheduled to be there. Bernie stayed until they tracked down another coach to come help. Ultimately, it was just a three-year olds birthday. The kids had fun and were totally unaware of the chaos. However, when they called the next morning to 'settle up' financially, the girl asked how the party went. When I told her all of the problems that we had encountered and that not only did we have to clean and set up the space ourselves but that the staff I had confirmed just days before were not even scheduled to be there, she offered me a measly 10% discount. My advice? Stick with Summit. Way more organized, better communication, and everything is set up for you.

I took my toddlers to FG's Open Gym on a recent Friday... It was a fun activity and only $10 for both of them. Such a deal and great for them to get out a ton of energy! Open Gym takes place on Fridays from 10am - 11:30am. It's open for children aged 1 - 5, and it's great, but there is no supervision or instruction... Luckily, my mother-in-law was with me, so we could always have a 1:1 adult to kid ratio. When we were there, the doors were left open, so toddlers could just wander right into the parking lot behind the facility if they weren't being closely watched. The facility has both an indoor area and outdoor area. Indoors, there is a bounce house, a foam pit, a ton of mats, toys, balls, hoola hoops, balance beams, bars, etc... Outdoors is a small fenced in playground with some fun slides, structures, etc... that my kids didn't want to leave. Of course, there is also a bathroom, but I was surprised that it lacked a changing table... I had to lay my daughter on the floor to change her diaper. Not a big deal, but a changing table would have been nice. FG also offers up a small variety of snacks for sale. We didn't purchase any though, since we headed to lunch after we left. If I were in Flagstaff for longer, I'd take a look at some of the classes / camps that FG offers, but open gym is a nice option to mix things up if you're visiting (and have active adults to supervise).
