Mark Fick is absolutely amazing. We brought my daughter here for her brace after an accident. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I would highly recommend Hanger in Flagstaff to my friends and family. Mark is patient-focused and will do what is in the best interest of the patient. He gave us options, listened to our needs, and asked questions to make sure we got the best brace for my daughter. Mark is the man to see!

Mark was fantastic when I visited last week. He cut his lunch short due to the fact that I needed to get back on the road before the rains came in and I live three hours from Flagstaff. He took very good care of me, got me what I needed and out within 15 minutes!

Mark Fick BOCPO, CTO, at the Flagstaff location of Hanger Clinic, is a highly professional and greatly experienced provider with a heart of gold. I thank God for him. You wouldn't think it such a big deal, but getting the cushion top of custom-made orthotics is not as simple as it might seem. I hade a great pair made at Hanger in Tucson by Chris Curtis. I have been wearing orthotics for my disfigured, extremely flat, feet since I was five and I have had some good and some lousy pairs. When I came into Hanger not too long before closing time, I was hoping to get my good pair resurfaced, but was told that this is hardly ever done since Medicare won't pay for it. However, Mark Fick told me to show him the orthotics. He commented that they were, in fact very good, with materials that are rarely used by other clinics, esp. cork. Then he walked off with them for a few minutes. Shortly afterwards, he told me that with over thirty years experience, he's pretty quick. They were done and the glue was drying. He then smiled and said, "Merry Christmas!" This was late April. He meant he wouldn't charge me because it only took a few minutes. I was floored. I am so grateful that he is here in Flagstaff. I can't say enough good things about the experience. God bless Mark Fick and Hanger Clinic!

"Process" rather than sanity driven. 1. Outsourced scheduling (though that worked pretty well- because well intentioned employees circumvented the process.) Else I would not be here for days yet and unable to complain. 2. Office personnel concerned the doctor did not properly define a knee brace and could not accept the patient's information/diagnosis "needed to be on the "form"... " again process over function. 3. Huge waste of time waiting for paperwork rather than seeing clinician- (all over a few hundred dollar brace. ). 4. God forbid you tell them please proceed and "if " the insurance does not go through I will "pay" for it. The response is : " you don't want to use insurance?" (Staff short-circuit at this point) No I want to- Use insurance- I just don't want my physical well being to suffer, spend the rest of the day here before seeing someone and my brace fit and ordering delayed WAITING FOR IT... not like I am not responsible for the cost in the first place anyhow...

they helped me when i was in the E.R. for work injury.. because of billing confusion my personal insurance was billed and i was billed for a co-pay, i ultimately paid it to avoid collections, then workers compensation stepped in and should have paid as well. they [hanger] makes it next to impossible to talk with a knowledgeable billing person. really easy to claim billing fraud was unintentional when you dont have a billing office available to your clients, they just had staff to process payments.

Negative star is the appropriate rating here. After 6 months they still couldn't complete a prescription. They refused to return calls to the supervisor of my insurance company and when I went in person to inquire the girl at the front desk became rude and aggressive and actually told me to leave and not come back. Such rudeness might be in order if I had been rude or swearing or such but that was not the case. My business and recommendations will go elsewhere. Shame on Hanger for such poor front office relations with patients.

I am what is called an incomplete quadrallapedic. When I went to Hanger for braces the first time the tech used my sneaker size I came in with rather than size my foot. Then proceeded to order braces based in that. When they came in they were three sizes too big. So big I had to cut the lift inside the shoe to fit. Then a couple years later, the metal thing inside of the shoe,( attached to the braces) broke. Hanger agreed to fix the metal thing in the shoe. I asked (Mike) to measure my foot. Instead of a 13, turned out I was an 11.5. Mike agreed it was Hangers responsibility. I was very upset that when the braces came in, Mike said that they we're doing me a favor to fix them. That I was responsible for the problems with the brace. In this town Hanger is a monopoly or I would never go back.
