DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR VEHICLE!! I currently live at Hilltop and applied for the parking pass when I applied to live here (11 months prior to move in). Since they oversold parking, I never got the parking pass and still don't have one. Don't bother calling the office either, they probably won't pick up; if they do, they will be rude.

I do not know how a business runs in this country that is run by so unethical people. First of all, most charges on your portal you need to pay, their "transaction processing partner" will charge $19.95 for each transaction, unless you can pay it with recurring payment. And in some cases, you cannot, such as the lease transfer fee, etc. Secondly, after you find someone to take over your lease, the management do not cooperate at all to make a smooth transaction. You need to ask them again and again regarding the status of the transfer. They do not provide any written document either. So once you move out and turn in your keys, they will make up rules according to their will to charge you more.I wish they learn their lesson and treat their customers well.

As you can see, majority of these 5 star reviews are solely based on the tours of Hilltop, not from people who live there. As someone who lived there before, I can not stress enough how you should avoid hilltop. They do not listen to your damage claims, so if you claim something and they never fix (I.e the fire alarm) they will charge you for it. They also do not give a security deposits back, regardless of how you clean your room before leaving. The staff at Hilltop has very few workers, the upper management of the facility being the worst part, they are completely incompetent and do not know what there own policies are. I was trying to get out of my lease and I was told 3 different things, which almost screwed me over. The apartments themselves are fine, if you have good roommates. If you have bad roommates, even ones that cause you to have a concern with you own safety, good luck. I had a roommate who caused me and all my roommates to feel unsafe. Numerous reports and complaints were filed and nothing happened. My friend and roommate at the time had to defend himself and he was evicted for it. Hilltop does not know how to run an apartment complex. Stay clear.

I understand that being in the business with college students can’t be easy! HOWEVER, this place is a complete joke. They do not clean or make things right for the students when they move in. They do not respond to requests for maintenance. Then when you move out they find something, anything to charge you for. We had to clean everything before we could move them in.My daughter and her 4 room mates were all charged for something. Two of them shared a bathroom and were both charged for cleaning when the mom scrubbed the bathroom for 2 hours on move out day. The couch they gave our kids was destroyed. They told them they had already replaced to many and wouldn’t replace theirs. After parents got involved, they swapped two cushions sill leaving the one that had a HUGE spring sticking up in it so you couldn’t sit on it. The replacement didn’t have connectors so the couch moved every time you tried it sit on it. Our kids bathrooms were gross on move in and things were falling apart. On move in there were holes in the walls that hadn’t been repaired and paint that didn’t match. My husband being in construction and told that they paint every time no matter what filled the little holes to help them out. They then charged our daughter $115 for paint that they were already doing and on holes that were already there.Their fridge handle broke off, just wear on the screws over time. They put in multiple requesting and on move out day it still had not been fixed. They cancelled my daughter portal on move out day but sent a request for the $115. She has been emailing trying to show pictures and proof that we shouldn’t have to pay and they drag it out not responding trying to get it sent to collections. We are looking into a complaint with the BBB. They are just hoping you pay them to be done with them. They are absolute crooks and I would NOT recommend them!

Amazing tour with helpful and patient staff. Property has spacious rooms and a beautiful view from its south facing side. Super close to NAU campus and seems to have a variety of available amenities. Very pleased with what we saw!

Really enjoyed the tour of Hilltop Townhomes we took with Alena K. The townhomes are a really nice option for student housing and the tour was informative, friendly, and helpful.

I would not recommend Hilltop unless it is your last resort. Most office staff are unkind and do not know what they are talking about. There are constant plumbing issues in the kitchen and laundry areas, and when it snows the complex is horrible at clearing snow and ice. The only good thing about this place is the location.

Do not live here. I only lived here since it was a convenient. Management does not try to help you out. I had awful roommate experiences where my roommates harassed me and decided to go to management and spread lies to get me kicked off my lease. The generator that was right outside my window kept breaking repeatedly, so it was sound like a wrench in a dryer at 12:30am and keep going until after 1am. Our plumbing kept breaking repeatedly and a pipe burst in my bedroom. You'll get charged for random fees. Plus rent is going up and you're gonna have to start paying for electricity and water next year too. It's not worth the money.
