“This is THE hidden treasure of Flagstaff. There staff are the kindest people and Dottie's coffee is my favorite get away to read a book. There is seating fit for every season and a koi pond that is as beautiful as it is mesmerizing. A wonderful place to get a pumpkin, a christmas tree (complete with birth certificate like a little cabbage patch doll), or flowers of every variety. They even have some unusual house plants and you can repot them right there. A treasure from the plants to the people.”
“My boyfriend and I live in another town in AZ and frequent that town's Home Depot almost daily as he is a remodeling contractor. We came to Flagstaff to do a small job and needed some supplies. I wanted to leave this review because we encountered so many friendly and helpful associates. They seemed to really enjoy people and working there. Our little dog also enjoyed the love she got from some associates, especially the ones who kneeled down and let her give them a little smooch. I believe work culture has a direct impact on efficiency, staff recruitment and retention, and overall customer satisfaction. So props to this Home Depot for great customer service and great culture!”
“Tiffany is a good example of what customer service is all about. I was telling my son we should have wrapped the Select Pine boards we bought so they didn’t bounce around and get messed up on our hour long with dirt road drive home. And coming from her break Tiffany heard us talking and offered a solution. That was more help than I received while shopping inside. She did not have to do that. She wasn’t even clocked back in yet. ??????”
“It's Flagstaff so if you need a "special part" expect them to offer to order it for you but you are honestly better off ordering it yourself and it will arrive sooner. And by comparison, nothing like Phoenix persay as far as assistance goes, and that's in general across the board. In comparison to the other Flagstaff location here's what I've noticed:
This location has much worse correspondence with customers and if you need help you will have to wander around to locate someone to locate someone else which can take 45 min. Where as the other location staffs more college kids but you are much more likely for someone to ask you if you need help. And believe it or not the college kids assisting you do actually know whatever section or job that's been assigned to them. Not to mention they are much faster at the other location. Now this location seems to be a bit bigger and may have more inventory but I only think that matters if you're just window shopping. Lol
This last time I went I waited over an hour for someone to walk by and ask if I needed help, meanwhile I was on my phone reading information about the product I needed...let me state that it was obvious I needed assistance because I talk out loud, such as "What?! That makes no sense. So then none of these would work.." so you get the point... the employees basically wait for you to run them down and if you do then you exist... if you don't jump in front of them and demand help....forget it.”
“Loved the Halloween theme maze. They had a scavenger hunt which was fun to do. A lot of photo ops for cool pictures. Dog friendly which is a plus. Pumpkins everywhere and all had the price under. They also have trees and flowers for sale. Very cool place for small children to enjoy. All staff were very friendly and seemed happy to be there.”
