Salespeople need to stop talking themselves out of sales. Came to buy a bearded dragon, was told we needed an additional $250 worth of supplies I already owned, and wouldn't sell me the bearded dragon without the extra sales.

I've been shopping at Petco for many years. No matter where they are located, you can count on friendly, informed staff to help you with your pets' needs. I recently had a issue with my store account. It turned out that I had accidentally created two separate accounts, which was causing problems with my rewards points. I called their main customer service line, and was able to have it remedied, and all my points restored in just minutes. And today I had an appointment with their Vetco service to take my boy kitty in to get a microchip. He's such a scaredy cat with strangers, that I was concerned he might be a bit wild and unruly. But they were very professional, and handled him gently and quickly. Both me and my kitty were very happy with the visit!

Went in the store 8:50pm the cashier was very rude, we were asking about the clearance items and told her we found an item in the clearance section and see if the price was correct, she gave the vibe that it was too much for her to see if the price was right-she seemed very lazy to even try to look at the shelf. So I took a picture of it to confirm on-line and she started saying āgo ahead take a pic! itās funny how ppl think we could get in trouble over reviews on this storeā I turned to her and said excuse me? And she laughed and said Reviews donāt do shit for you ppl! Petco is a big company they donāt care what complaint you have. I told her oh ok so reviews are no concern to you or the company you work for, ok then it shouldnāt be a problem when I post this, btw what is your name, she hesitated but she still had that immature pride and said Constance. All this over asking her to dbl check a priceā¦ā¦ā¦..

Always run down and low inventory. Im suprised its still open after all these years. Prefer to visit Petmsart in Flag or other Petcos in valley.

It is before 6:30 PM on a Friday and the front doors are locked while all lights are on. No hours posted on any front doors/windows. More than ten customers have tried to enter and walked away in the last 10 minutes. If you have new hours, post them!

Very rude employee working the aisles. Needed protective doggy socks before putting my dog on my boat and was told the only way that I could try on all the different sizes was after I purchased one. So basically you have to purchase return purchase and return until you get the size the correctly fits your dog. I couldāve totally understand this if it was a sealed package that you would have to cut into but these packages easily opened! very disappointing experience however (Employee) at checkout was absolutely a sweetheart.

I adopted my baby girl Kitty from this store and I love the fact they always have the one specific kind of cat food she likes. If you are a cat parent, you know how finicky they can be about their food. šŗ

Placed order on Friday at about 5pm and planned on picking it up that day.
Website stated store closed at 9pm
got to store around 7pm and there was a hand written paper on the door stating store closed at 6pm
ok wait till the next day
got email at 8:30am that order was ready for pickup
arrived at 9am when website said store opened
paper on door saying store doesn't open until 10am
hours store operates are NOT what is posted online.
Finally when store did open, no one was manning registers. Cashier finally walked up and stated she was still clocking in and she'd find someone to help. As someone who has worked retail previously, cashiers are expected to be at the store before open and have the register opened and ready by opening hours.
Finally when someone did walk up they didn't seem very aware that there was an online order to pick up and seemed to have to figure out how to pull up orders before going over to retrieve my order.
There were many other customers waiting outside when the store finally opened and none of them seemed all that pleased that the store was opening later than was posted.
Unless things change at this store, I foresee it closing up in a short time period, prices are cheaper at PetSmart for the same items, and keeps store info up to date with website.
