Safeway Bakery has friendly staff and a wide selection of products, including a deli with various cheeses, cold cuts, and ready-to-eat food. The habanero chicken is particularly tasty. This location is convenient for regular customers and near the NAU campus, but can be cleaned out by the time some arrive. While not as clean as other locations, it offers a pharmacy with helpful staff and a gasoline station for point redemption. However, pharmacy hours can be limited, and there have been instances where medications were not in stock or needed to be ordered, causing additional trips. Overall, Safeway Bakery provides quality products, but may be pricier than other options.
We needed a fruit plate for a party tonight with a couple nice deli types. This will be a large group. We found Xact what we needed. Plenty of cashiers working so not much of a line. Went well.

Friendly staff and all the products you might need. The butchers are excellent and more than willing to give you the cut of your choice. The deli has a nice selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and food ready to eat. The habanero chicken is especially tasty.

The young Deli girl at the Safeway in Flagstaff Az couldn’t have been more rude. She literally snapped at me when I asked her a question. I know its hard to find employees so Safeway is probably proud of the worker
